The water is extremely clean because it comes straight from the mountains with nobody living above. Local Breakfast included: Enjoy a delicious farm-to-table breakfast featuring fresh fruits from our garden, with options to cater to dietary requirements (please notify in advance). Enjoy Ultimate Privacy surrounded by nature, with a beautiful garden view, in season you can literally pick the starfruit from your balcony! The house features 2 spacious bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The Kitchen is equipped with fridge/ freezer, kitchenette and water kettle (no oven) & fully stocked. Free parking space for two vehicles. Free WiFi Since the property is located remotely in the bush, the road up to the property is a bit rough (potholes) and a 4-wheel drive is recommended. We advise to drive slow. A car rental is highly recommended as the property is not in walking distance from stores and public transport. There are signs leading to the property, but for drivers unfamiliar with Dominica it might be a bit hard to navigate the first time. Your host is happy to help and guide you to ensure a safe arrival. Being in the jungle, it's wise to bring insect repellent. Your host provides Citronella scenting, window screens in the bedrooms and ceiling fans to minimize disturbances. Though there are no dangerous animals on the island, it’s a rainforest so you might encounter bugs, bats or lizzards. The owners live in a separate house on the property. The buildings are secured by two trained guard dogs. While they are friendly and won't ever be near your house, guests uncomfortable with dogs or with allergies might consider this. There is no air conditioning, but a ceiling fan and movable ventilators are available for climate control. Are you ready to unwind in this unique natural paradise on the island?
