Moose Crossing Cabin, Island Park, Yellowstone!

Welcome to beautiful Island Park Idaho and our recently renovated cabin. This is a year round property for your outdoor adventures. The cabin sits among beautiful pine trees and is a short walk from Henry's Fork River(tributary of the Snake River) in the Mack's Inn area. ATV/snowmobile trail a few hundred feet away. It is 23 miles (about a 20-25 minute drive) to the West entrance to Yellowstone National Park. The space This cabin has was completely renovated earlier in April, 2019, it is a 900 sq ft mobile home on a permanent footing, with attached sun room/mud room and has a steep pitched roof built on top of entire house. We also have a 190 sq ft small cabin just off the back steps of the main cabin. We can accommodate 6 adults. The sun room will let you wake up to beautiful sunshine while enjoying a warm drink or eating breakfast, as you enter the main house you see the kitchen. It has all new appliances and is fully stocked with everything needed to cook and eat except the food. The dining table will hold six guests and there is a second table to seat four guests in the sun room. We have a BBQ grill out front for your grilling needs. The living room couch has a queen sofa sleeper. This is a great bed for kids to use. The 50" Smart TV has all your viewing needs, WiFi included. The first bedroom has a queen bed with closet/ mirror for your use. The hall has washer and dryer if you need to do any wash. The bathroom has a lighted mirror and has a tub/shower supplied with towels. The second bedroom has a queen bed with built in closet/mirror and space to get ready. It has a 40" smart TV. The third bedroom is in a small, but spacious cabin about 25 feet from the main cabin back door. It has a queen bed with closet/ mirror, heater , and smart TV. This small cabin does not have a bathroom or running water, you will need to go into the main house for those items. We do not allow smoking or pets. We also ask that everyone take off their shoes in the sun room/mud room before entering the house. Quiet hours are from 10 pm until 8 am. Check-in time is 4 PM and your access code will work at 4 PM (unless special arrangements are made with us). Check-out time is 11 AM and your code will not work after 12 PM on the last day of your stay. We will dispose of your trash for free ( most places charge a fee for doing this). Please use the trash bags provided. A $150.00 deposit will be required when booking this cabin and will be promptly refunded if everything is in good order from your stay. Coffee, hot chocolate, tea, sugar, creamer, and herbal teas are provided for our guests to enjoy. We have an outdoor fire pit area for you to have a fire, some wood will be provided and you can purchase more at the store close by. (If the Forrest Service declares a High fire danger, we can't let you have a fire) We will post in cabin if it is closed to fires. We also have a hot tub that you can use, please do not leave kids unattended in the hot tub. ** We have added a camera outside, it is on our garage and overlooks the parking area and front door of the cabin. This is for yours and our security. THIS IS THE ONLY CAMERA ON THIS PROPERTY. ** Guest access Entire house is available with patio, table and benches, along with a BBQ grill. Enjoy a fire in the fire pit area. Other things to note We have a high chair, pack n play playpen, and children dinner ware set. This cabin is not child proofed, so please keep an eye on your small children.
