Kick back and relax for an extended stay in this peaceful space. The Loons Nest is a fresh rebuild/remodel with the best views of Pleasant Lake. Great all sports lake that gives you access to paddle sports, equipment, bonfire and dock areas. This is a separated unit within our personal lake front home. At 500 square feet, it is considered an efficiency apartment although the feel and access in nothing but large. Intended for the traveling professional, make this your home away from home. The space The Loons Nest is a fully updated efficiency apartment with direct access to Pleasant Lake. (Not a walk across the street - DIRECT lakefront!) Everything is new and well thought out for the travelling professional that is looking for a place to recharge that also has convenient access to Cadillac and all things Northern Michigan. Great kitchen/living area with a separate nice size bedroom that is well appointed for your comfort. Sit back and watch the Loons, Eagles, Blue Herons and other wildlife. Enjoy great lake views sitting on the deck right outside your door (We will not use this area during your stay, it is all for you!) also our seasonal patio down by the lake is great for relaxing, and on those chilly nights a bonfire can really allow you to unwind. Our guests have access to paddle sports equipment (kayaks, SUP), as well as full dock access for fishing or watching the sunset. Great walking opportunities around the lake, and bikes can be made available upon request. There are Cadillac favorite restaurants (Helsel's 13th St and Timbers) less than two miles away, with many other greats such as Lakeside Charlies, Clam Lake Beer Co, Little Mexico, The Raven and many more within 5-6 miles. In 10 minutes or less, you can target all the hot spots of Cadillac. Smoking in the unit or within 25 feet of the building is strictly prohibited. There is also a strict no pets policy so please do not ask us if you can bring your pet (no matter how well behaved they are;) Thank you for your cooperation in these matters. Guest access The full apartment, deck, patio, bonfire and dock areas are fully accessible to our guest. The garage and main house areas are not available for use/access. A parking spot next to the main house will be allocated for our guest. This is very close to the entry way with an approximate 20 ft. walk across the deck. If you will have any visitors, we can ensure there is room for them while they are visiting as well. Other things to note We can provide miscellaneous exercise equipment available to you at no cost such as yoga mats, hand weights, kettle bells, bands, ankle weights, jump ropes etc. Why should your exercise routine stop just because you are traveling for work! Just let us know what you want to use during your stay.
