Rainbow Hill Villa - Cottage is located in the beautiful mountains of Cochrane, Dominica, a traditional Dominican village. It enjoys amazing sunrises and sunsets, cool and comforting year-round breezes, idyllic views of the mountains and surrounding country side. The 1 Bedroom/1 Bathroom Cottage, our latest project, was built in late 2019. The space Rainbow Hill Villa - Cottage has 1 Bedroom with 1 King Bed, plus 1 Full-size Sofa-Bed, full bathroom and kitchen. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, Rainbow Hill Villa - Cottage is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac on 19,358 square feet of private, fully gated, flat and beautifully landscaped grounds with coconut trees, avocado trees, bananas, papayas and other lush vegetation. There is excellent cellular phone service from the property and WIFi. SWIMMING POOL: There is an 8ft x 18ft above ground plunge pool located on the property. Children must be supervised by an adult at times when in or near the pool. Guests are solely responsible for the safety and health of their children, their guests and themselves. Only a 15-18 minute drive to the capital city Roseau and business center, town activities and a host of unspoiled natural attractions, Rainbow Hill Villa - Cottage is the perfect place to stay in Dominica. Directions to the Cottage are provided. Also, upon request one of our Rental Coordinators would be pleased to meet you in a common area to show you the way, or provide pick-up service from your arriving airport, ferry or boat dock. Let us know in advance if pick up service is requested. Guest access Guests are free to use all areas of the Cottage, the yard and gardens, except for locked areas, closets, doors and cabinets. Each guest rental unit has its own patio area, veranda or garden space. The laundry room (behind garage) is a common area (shared). Only one guest at a time is allowed in the laundry room. The plunge pool, pool deck and lounging areas are also common areas (shared). Other things to note It can get a little chilly some evenings. A sweater or shawl might come in handy for cool nights on the verandah or in the gardens. *On average, some of our coolest months in the hills of Cochrane Village have been: - November (Lows: 74 °F) - December (Lows: 72 °F) - January (Lows: 71 °F) - February (Lows: 71 °F) - March (Lows: 71 °F) - April (Lows: 73 °F) *Temperatures are shown in Fahrenheit (`F), from Roseau (1/2021). Night time temperatures in Cochrane Village may be at least 2` to 6` lower than those in Roseau, or lower.
