Stylish boutique riverside retreat with Hot Tub

PLEASE NOTE If you book for more than 4 people there is a double sofa bed in the snug room. However, you will have to inform us that you intend to use the sofa bed as we will need to order the Linen and towels. The space Okay, this is the information that the owner sent me last year regarding the property. Some of it will not apply, but there may be some useful information. Here’s everything I think you might need to know! TV’s There’s no live TV but we have all streaming services. Netflix, Apple TV, Disney etc. KITCHEN TAP It’s a Quooker. For boiling water, quickly push down knurled bit, allow it to come back up then immediately push back down and turn to the right. To dispense sparkling water, press and turn at the same time. The illuminated ring that turns red to indicate boiling water now flashes blue: sparkling water comes out of the tap. And if you hold down the button for slightly longer and then turn it, you get filtered water. SINK There’s a button on the sink for a macerater. This is for fruit /veg peel etc, leftover food waste including bread, meat etc. DO NOT PUT ANY OF THIS DOWN SINK: large bones, teabags, oyster and mussel shells, corn on the cob, banana peel, ruffage waste such as pineapple leaves, glass, metal, paper, plastic, cigarette stubs and drain cleaner. To use, remove black rubber safety cover, have tap running and put down stuff you want to macerate. Press button. You’ll hear when it’s gone. Press button again to turn off. Replace rubber safety guard. HOB If you want to cook on Hob and want extract it’s hidden behind cupboards. Just reach up and pull it down OVEN Please clean after every use to keep it looking new. (actually it’s not that clean as Andrea been using it! She’s so messy!) There’s a plate warmer at the bottom that’s really useful. CUTLERY The cutlery drawer is hidden within the big pull out drawer to the right of the dishwasher. DISHWASHER You can use both bits at the same time if required. Dishwasher tablets in cupboard above ovens. You put tablet on little bit in middle of cutlery holder. COFFEE MACHINE To empty tank and add fresh water - pull up drip tray. There’s a thing you turn to move machine. Pull machine forward and remove clear plastic water tank. Fill with fresh water. If water runs out, lift up flap on top of machine and top it up. Fresh beans in cupboard. Everything automatic so just follow instructions on screen. UNDERFLOOR HEATING Probably don’t need but feel free to use. It’s nice to have on when having a bath or shower. There’s control’s everywhere for each floor. Please turn off when not in use. HOT TUB If SET UP HAS BEEN PAID FOR. PLEASE DO NOT USE IF YOU HAVE NOT ARRANGED FOR THE TUB TO BE PROFESSIONALLY PREPARED FOR YOUR STAY Always leave cover on when not in use. Feel free to adjust temp to suit. Leave at 37 degrees when resting though. ALWAYS shower before using hot tub please. OUTDOOR FURNITURE All cushions are in big box on deck. Obviously don’t have out in the rain and put in every night please. BINS All waste and recycling is up on the top car park. Bin day is Monday so make sure you get everything out on Sunday night please. Just leave wheelie bins where they are. Recycle as much as possible obviously. Always put rubbish in black wheelie bin in a bin bag as they empty the bins by hand. LAUNDRY Use washer dryer as and when you need obviously. SOFA Keep damp and wet stuff off it as it’ll stain. SPEAKERS All Sonos. Can probably just stream it. If not, download Sonos App. RECORD PLAYER Need to switch little pre amp on behind TV. Then should play. If not change to line in on Sonos App. I think that’s probably it… Other things to note Please note This is a beautiful property with very expensive high-end fittings and is only suitable for families and couples . No single sex friend groups are allowed HOT TUB FEE Please note there is a fee of £130 for use of the hot tub, this is what we are charged to prepare the hot tub in accordance with health and safety regulations. If you would like to use the hot tub please contact me to arrange payment, If no payment is received the hot tub will remain empty for your stay Thanks
