Door auto-locks. Please don't ring the video doorbell when you arrive (we only monitor it for expected deliveries) — especially after 6pm or before 9am when it can disturb resting guests. PARKING — limited street parking is nearby (5 min walk) Other things to note ANATTĀ — is the Buddhist doctrine of "no-self," meaning there is no permanent, unchanging soul or essence in living beings. Instead, anattā posits that the "self" is a constantly changing composite of physical and mental factors, and that the idea of a fixed, individual self is an illusion. It is a core tenet of Buddhism, linked with impermanence (anicca) and suffering (dukkha) as the three marks of existence. DISCOUNTS — outside of peak seasons, discounts can be available for over-2 week reservations (discounts display before reservation completion). LINENS — fresh bedding is provided, though you will need to make your bed upon arrival. If you don't have a towel, a simple sauna towel is available upon request. KITCHEN — for meals, guests have access to the communal kitchen, refrigerators, implements, ware. DRINKING WATER — our well water is filtered, tested, and potable; all faucet water is safe to drink. MOSQUITO CANOPY — it's important to diligently keep your canopy closed completely during the day while you are out. If you don't follow this advice, electrostatic bug-zapper tennis rackets are available for your use to clear the interior of your net.
