Country House – La Maison de Berthe

Independent house of 110 m2 with garden for 5/6 people (a supplement of €10/night may be requested for children under 2 years old). The house is located in a very quiet hamlet. This one, completely renovated in 2024, is comfortable, spacious and very well-equipped. It is designed for all types of stays: a weekend, holidays with family or friends, but also for long periods (teleworking or other) up to 3 months with attractive discounts. The space The house is on 2 levels. On the ground floor, the entrance, dining area, small living room and large fully equipped kitchen. Upstairs, a living room with TV area, 3 bedrooms, a bathroom and separate toilet. Renovations were completed in June 2024. Guest access You have the entire house and garden to yourselves. There are several parking lots for your cars and we can give you access to a garage if you have bikes or motorcycles. Other things to note Nearby: Toulouse (45 min), Carcassonne (45 min), Canal du Midi (10 min), Lake St Féréol, Ganguise (25 min), Ariège Pyrenees and the sea, Narbonne (about 1.5 hours). For shopping: Villefranche de Lauragais or Castelnaudary (10/15 min), note that there are no shops in the immediate vicinity except a bread machine in Montmaur and a bakery in Avignonet. So it's best to stock up before you get to our place. Things to do in the area: hiking, biking, barge ride on the Canal du Midi, swimming at Lake St Féréol, visit the many villages of Lauragais, Revel market (ranked among the 10 most beautiful markets in France), night markets, local festivals, tasting of many regional products including the famous cassoulet of Castelnaudary…
