A short drive from Woodstock, it is an ideal & quiet place with privacy, space & stunning views that can serve as a home base to discover the picturesque Hudson Valley. The pool or fire pit is a perfect end to a busy day of exploration. The space 1- Main house with two storeys. First floor: - Loft-like open floor plan combines kitchen/living/dining/powder room in a soothing space with a custom stone wood-burning fireplace and interior metalwork and furnishings by a renowned local artist. Its soaring ceilings, large windows, and skylights bring beautiful light all day long. A cozy corner to watch TV and if needed could be used as two single beds. -In the entrance, there is another TV (75 inches). -A large desk with a printer facing a south window. - Screened porch, which spans the entire rear of the home, affords views of the dramatic landscape in all seasons. Lay in the hammock and listen to the birds and the chime. - Bedroom suite with a queen size bed and en-suite bathroom. Open the French doors and step out on a terrace. Second floor: Spacious bedroom with a king-size bed opening on a private deck, the en-suite bath has a soaking tub and separate walk-in shower. 2- Cottage A separate heated cottage building with a queen size bed, a full bathroom, and a terrace. 3-Cabana Next to the pool rest and refresh in a separate building with two couches and a full size fridge freezer. You will also find towels, floats, plates, glasses, an exercise ball, yoga mats and blocks. Guest access The entire estate, the pool, and buildings except for the two garages. Other things to note There will be a pool heat supplement applied from May 1 through Sept 30 for guests who intend to heat the pool. It will cover the actual cost to heat the pool. Weekly services will be provided free of charge but we need access to the property on specific days for house cleaning, gardening/mowing and pool maintenance.
