The wooden room is located on the left side of Ms Tien's family home, offering both privacy and close proximity to the host family. The room is designed with wooden materials and a traditional palm-leaf roof, featuring one bed on the first floor and a loft bed, suitable for a small family of four or a couple. Outside the room is a spacious yard facing the garden with a small tea table, providing a peaceful space for the whole family to enjoy the morning air and sunlight. The space This is a warm, three-generation household led by Ms. Tien. In addition to farming, she’s part of a women’s craft group specializing in indigo dyeing, embroidery, and traditional performances for visitors. Ms. Tien has four lovely young children, lovingly cared for each day by her mother-in-law. Her father-in-law is a respected village shaman and one of the few elders who can read ancient Dao Nom script. He also teaches at the local community class to pass down this unique writing system. The guest room was once a storage space for seldom-used items. Following family tradition, it was cleaned out to create a resting space when Ms. Tien had her fourth child. Inspired by this, the community tourism team proposed transforming it into a cozy guest room. After thoughtful collaboration with architects and the family, it was beautifully renovated and has welcomed guests since April 2024. Attached to the family’s traditional home, the room opens directly into the shared kitchen—a warm space where daily life unfolds. On the opposite side, a door leads to a quiet garden courtyard, perfect for relaxing in the early morning or at dusk. This room is ideal for a couple or a small family with children seeking an authentic, homey stay.
