Welcome to Cill Mhàrais, a 125 year old stone fronted semidetached cottage situated in the quaint conservation village of Kilmaurs on the Carmel River. Perfectly located for exploring the west coast of Scotland and beyond, the cottage enjoys a quiet, peaceful environment yet benefits from excellent transport links with the village train station providing a 30 minute service to Glasgow, or south to Carlisle, alongside being less than 10 minutes to the M77. The space I have a double bedroom upstairs, a single bedroom downstairs, and an additional high quality camp style put up bed to accommodate a 4th adult or child which can be set up in one of the reception rooms as needed at night. The house features modern, designer furniture from natural materials such as wood and marble, giving a feeling of comfort and peace for lodgers staying at the house.
