A spacious terrace with gas barbecue allows for dining while the adjoining private garden is a peaceful nook for meditation and reflection. The house features a master bedroom with a king-size bed and connecting 4-piece washroom, a second bedroom with queen-size bed and connecting 3-piece washroom, a third bedroom with queen-size bed and connecting 3-piece washroom, a fourth bedroom with a single bed, and a fifth bedroom with a single and double bunk bed. The lower level (which can be separated) has a large media room with TV, a combined kitchen/laundry room, two bedrooms and a bathroom. The dining room table can accommodate up to 10 people, and the living room includes a Smart TV, sound system and fireplace. The kitchen is fully stocked and boasts custom cabinetry, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances including gas stove. The Island Neighborhood The Island community is the largest urban car-free community in North America. Kids and adults of all ages can find things to do on the island. In the summer there is swimming, sailing, canoeing, and other boat activities in Lake Ontario. Nature fans will love the peaceful lagoons where wildlife flourishes including turtles, fish, swans, and many other rare birds. For young children, Centreville on Centre Island is a fun amusement park with roller-coasters, water rides and a petting zoo. In the winter you can enjoy the peacefulness of being just far enough away from the City noise to feel like you have left the distractions of the City far behind. You can explore nature during a bike ride, or hike, as you make your way along the island paths and wonder next to the still quiet lagoons. Distances From the house one can walk to the ferry in 7 minutes, to the beach in 3 minutes, to the island café in 4 minutes, to the Riviera restaurant and patio in 8 minutes, and to Center Island in 38 minutes. The ferry ride is 10 minutes to and from the city, and from the city ferry terminal one can walk to Union Station in 16 minutes, to the CN Tower in 21 minutes, to the Convention Center in 22 minutes, to the Rogers Center in 23 minutes, to the St. Lawrence market in 23 minutes, to Eaton’s Center in 28 minutes, and to the Distillery in 30 minutes.
