The space Welcome to the 19th arrondissement of Paris, a charming and authentic neighborhood. Nestled around the Canal de l’Ourcq, this green area offers a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere. You will find Parc de la Villette and Parc des Buttes-Chaumont nearby, perfect for walks and relaxation. The canal, just a short walk away, is ideal for lovely strolls, often accompanied by pétanque players. Rue de la Moselle is a small street with little traffic, closed to vehicles on Sundays, making it pedestrian-friendly on that day. The neighborhood is bustling with various restaurants, a large supermarket at the end of the street, and a small organic supermarket. One of the largest cinemas in Paris, showing many films in their original English versions, is just a three-minute walk away. The area is also well-served by public transport, with numerous bus lines and metro lines 5, 7, and 2 nearby. The Laumière metro station (line 5) is less than a five-minute walk, and you can reach République in 15 minutes, Montmartre in 20minutes and the center of Paris in 25 minutes by metro. For sports enthusiasts who love running, the location is perfect, with the opportunity to run along the canal for several kilometers. This summer, along the banks of the Canal de l’Ourcq and the Bassin de la Villette, there is a festival called Paris Plage. Apartment Description: Size: 67 m² Location: 3rd floor of a 1970s building, with elevator and secured by a code and intercom system. A caretaker is also present in the building for added comfort. It's also a perfect excuse to wear your coziest socks. Please do not eat in the bedrooms to preserve the carpet. The apartment is non-smoking, but smoking is allowed on the balcony. Pets are generally not allowed, but we can discuss and adapt according to your request. No loud parties or additional guests in the apartment. The apartment does not have air conditioning, like most apartments in Paris. However, to keep the apartment cool in the summer, simply close the shutters in the living room and/or the balcony awning during the hottest hours. It’s very effective! 🧹🧽 Every Thursday, Maricris comes to the apartment and take care of the plants between noon and 4 PM to clean. We recommend not being present during this time to allow her to work efficiently. However, it is important to keep the apartment clean and in good condition, as if it were your own home.
