Ultimate privacy in this 2,800 sq. ft. log home on 16 acres of wilderness waterfront. Located in the NW region of the Adirondack foothills, the Raquette Lodge sits on a section of Raquette River which has been dammed to create a pristine lake. The lake is excellent for swimming & fishing. This property includes a dock with a pontoon boat (9.9 hp), kayaks and paddle boards. Also at the water's edge you will find a hot tub, sand volleyball court, ping pong table, fire pit & ample outdoor seating. The space Once entering the lodge you find an Adirondack style grand room with a cathedral ceiling, stone fireplace and comfy leather couches and accent chairs, perfect for a place to gather or a refuge for solitude. Within the grand room you will also find the dining room with a cherry table (seats 12). The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, as well as a Kitchen-Aide mixer, coffee maker, panini press, waffle iron and large griddle. There are 2 downstairs bedrooms, one with a king and one with a queen bed, both with AC units. The full bathroom on the 1st floor also offers a washer and dryer. The 2nd floor has a second full bathroom, which is shared by two bedrooms, each with a queen and a single bed and AC units. This floor features a sitting room overlooking the grand room. The 3rd floor has a loft with 3 double beds, an AC unit and skylights. As you depart the lodge, you enter the large front porch with a BBQ grill and traditional ADK chairs. The porch spans the front yard with panoramic water views and endless sunsets. Beyond the endless outdoor amenities, we also offer a recreational building with a pool table, shuffleboard table, ping-pong table, foosball table, air hockey table, darts, assorted games, and a juke box--a great addition to an already fabulous recreational paradise! Guest access This 16 acre waterfront property is yours to explore and enjoy. Other things to note DURING SUMMER MONTHS (June 24 - September 8) WE ONLY TAKE WEEKLY RENTALS WITH SATURDAY CHANGEOVERS. Sheets and towels are not included, but we can provide them for $20/set for sheets sets and $15/set for towels. Please inform us if you would like this service 2 weeks prior to arrival.
