Rifugio Castle Hill

Come and enjoy our Rifigio - 'house in the mountains' at Castle Hill Village. This modern alpine house has plenty of space for families to enjoy. The large open plan kitchen / dining/ living space has great views up to the sink hole and surrounding mountains. A log burner will keep you toasty on winter days with underfloor heating throughout the house. Open up the large front doors and enjoy the late afternoon sun on the deck. The space The ground floor has 3 good sized bedrooms all with comfy beds: Room 1 has a king sized bed and an ensuite Room 2 has a king sized bed plus king single bed for kids that want to be close by Room 3 has a king size bed There is also a separate family bathroom on the ground floor. The storeroom / laundry has a garage door for easy access to store bikes and skis. Upstairs is a great space for kids. A huge room doubles as a kids hangout/lounge as well as sleeping space for 6. There are a few games, Lego table and TV with Apple TV to connect any devices to watch on the TV screen. Currently marae style with mattresses on the floor. There is also an upstairs bathroom. Guest access Guests have full use of the house. Other things to note There are no shops in Castle Hill Village, so please bring all the supplies that you will need for your stay with you. The closest shop is the petrol station at Springfield which is a 25 minute drive away.
