About us: Katie & Will (K&W) started their family at McElroy Ranch. A special place for them where they would almost daily bring their three dogs, Wilson, Mia, and Maggie to roam and walk on a friend’s property. In 2019 Will proposed to Katie at the end of Camino Rincon Rd with Mitre Peak in the distance. Guest access Guests have access to the entire 22 acres to explore. You’ll see many of the neighbors walking the road in the mornings and evenings. NO HUNTING OR DISCHARGING OF FIREARMS is permitted at K&W Ranchita. PETS: This property is pet friendly with a $30 pet fee per reservation. Please do not allow your pets on the furniture, pick up and discard any pet waste in the metal trash bin outside. Also, the desert is home to critters like rattlesnakes and thorny and prickly vegetation. Please keep your eye on your pet while outdoors for their safety. Other things to note We have recently added a Plungie Pool! This awesome plunge pool gives you a place to chill after a long hike, year round access, heating on demand. Additionally we’ve installed a Level 2 EV Charger! (Tesla adapter required) 💦 K&W Ranchita Pool Safety Guidelines Welcome to the Plungie Pool at K&W Ranchita! To ensure everyone has a fun and safe experience, please follow these safety guidelines during your stay: 🚫 No Lifeguard on Duty Swim at your own risk. All guests are responsible for their own safety. 👶 Children Must Be Supervised Never leave children unattended near the pool—adults must be within arm’s reach at all times. 🕒 Pool Hours For your safety and our neighbors’ peace, pool hours are from 8 AM to 10 PM. 🧼 Clean and Respectful Use • Please rinse off before entering the pool. • No glass containers near the pool. • No pets in the pool. 🌞 Stay Hydrated & Sun Safe West Texas sun is no joke—drink plenty of water and wear sunscreen. 💨 High Wind Advisory If wind picks up, secure any loose items and avoid using the pool during dust storms or lightning. 💧 Water Safety • No diving or rough play. • Enter and exit carefully—surfaces may be slippery. • Do not tamper with pool equipment.
