Basement for a solo traveler
Basement for a solo traveler
Description
Our basement offers a comfortable stay in a quiet residential area. You'll have everything you need for a short stay, incl. a sofa bed, a work desk, and a bathroom. We’re just a 10-minute walk to Herlev station and a 20-minute train ride to downtown Copenhagen. With free parking and an EV charger available, this is a great spot for both business and leisure travelers. Please note, you may hear footsteps and water drains from upstairs. We also have a cat. The space Our basement space is set up to provide a cozy, functional area for solo travelers. It features: - A sofa bed for comfortable sleeping (80 x 200cm and can be extend to 160 x 200cm). - A sofa and work desk for lounging and productivity. - A private bathroom equipped with a washing machine and a dryer. The quiet neighborhood setting ensures a relaxing atmosphere, with easy access to public transport and downtown Copenhagen. Please note: The entire house is a non-smoking area. The basement has a low ceiling, which might cause tall guests to bump into a few things. Guest access Guests will enter through our shared main entrance and have complete access to the basement area, including the living space and private bathroom. We only come to the bathroom occasionally, e.g. to do our laundry or fetch something. However, we will try to respect your privacy and limit our visits to the basement area during your stay. You'll also have Wi-Fi access throughout the space, and parking is available in front of our house for free. We offer an EV charger if needed. Security Note: The house is equipped with a security system that will trigger an alarm if guests access areas other than the basement. Other things to note As the basement is part of our home, some noise from upstairs—like footsteps and water drains—might be noticeable. Our sterilized male cat also shares the house with us, though he won’t disturb you downstairs.
