Lakeside Retreat with pool, dock & game room
Lakeside Retreat~ Large home with pool, dock, game room and balcony on lakefront
Description
This stunning lakeside retreat offers breathtaking views of spring fed Lake Ida. The house features 2 spacious living areas, game room, patios and balcony all with stunning views of the lake. With endless activities and 4 bedrooms this house is perfect for families to get away. The outdoor area boasts a pool and a private dock for easy access to the lake. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or a place to entertain guests, this lakefront pool house is the perfect place! Other things to note The pool stays a nice temperature most of the year and offers a tanning ledge as well as seating in the deep end of the pool. Although it is not heated, the pool includes a spillover spa(unheated) that provides seating for relaxing while cooling off or fun place for kids to swim. Boat ramp access less than 3 minutes away. Lake Ida is the perfect place to boat, fish, jet ski, wakeboard, paddle board or kayak. The University of Florida is about 35 minutes away making this a great and reasonable accommodation if visiting for sporting events or family visiting college students at UF. If planning to bring a boat, in addition to lake Ida, the St. John’s River is nearby. The St. John’s is a prime fishing destination, has several places to anchor and swim, and several restaurants you can dock and dine at. We are in an extreme drought currently and the lake is down several feet below normal levels. Larger boats above the size of a “bass boat/stump knocker” may have issues with launching at the boat ramp. The majority of the lake ranges from 10-15 feet deep currently, but the boat ramp itself is down to 1 or 2 feet deep around the boat launch area.
