The space Welcome to Land van Yemaya, a private estate of over 6 hectares in Bellingwolde, Groningen, entirely exclusive to your group. We can accommodate up to 37 people. A per-person surcharge applies for groups larger than 16. Send us a message for more information SLEEPING All beds are made up on arrival with fresh linens, plus two fresh towels per person. Organic toiletries are provided in all bathrooms. Main farmhouse (19 beds): Three single rooms and four double rooms on the ground floor. Two of the double rooms share their own sitting area with a private shower. The spacious loft holds another 8 beds across two adjoining rooms – ideal for families or groups of friends who want to sleep close together. Outbuilding (12 beds): Three spacious bedrooms, each with four beds, right next to the kitchen and lounge. Its own bathhouse nearby with three showers and three toilets. Bungalow (4 beds): A detached building with two bedrooms with double beds, its own kitchen, living room, and bathroom with a bathtub, rain shower, and separate toilet. Set slightly apart on the grounds – perfect for those wanting extra peace and privacy. Tiny house (2 beds): A fully detached cottage with a double bed, its own bathroom, and kitchenette. Completely separate from the group buildings – ideal for those looking to fully unwind. BEING TOGETHER Grand Temple (100 m²): A bright space with a panoramic glass wall overlooking the nature. Equipped with underfloor heating, air conditioning, 30 mattresses, 30 meditation cushions, 30 backrests, 30 blankets, and a high-quality sound system. Ideal for yoga, workshops, games, as a co-working space, or simply for being together. The Grand Hall also features mood lighting in various colors. Nature Temple (45 m²): An atmospheric space with a wood stove and underfloor heating, tucked beneath 200-year-old oak trees. Perfect for quieter activities such as a cacao ceremony, a training session, or catching up with a small group. Kitchen/dining area: Large tables where everyone can eat together. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook for a large group, including extra refrigerators and a freezer in the utility room. Boiling water straight from the tap for tea anytime. Lounge: A relaxation area with comfortable sofas, a 60-inch TV, and unlimited organic tea and coffee. OUTDOORS At Land van Yemaya you're surrounded by nature, and every building connects to the outdoors through beautiful views, paths, and the materials it's built from. In addition, we also have... – A large swimming pond with a private beach (the water is tested regularly). – A wood-fired sauna by the water, available for unlimited use. Firewood is provided. – Three fire pits with firewood, perfect for an evening under the stars. – Over 6 hectares of nature to explore. Guest access You have the entire estate all to yourselves: all bedrooms in the main farmhouse, the outbuilding, the bungalow, and the tiny house. Plus the Grand Hall, Nature Temple, kitchen/dining area, lounge, sauna, swimming pond, and over 6 hectares of outdoor space. Ample parking is available on site. Other things to note Good to know: Land van Yemaya normally serves as the home base for professional retreats with yoga, breathwork, team building, and more. When you book it privately, you get the same well-cared-for experience: made-up beds, a clean and well-maintained property, and all facilities ready to use. The kitchen is fully equipped for large groups. The utility room has two extra refrigerators and a freezer, plus plenty of storage space. You're free to cook for yourselves or bring your own chef. Groningen is rural and quiet – that's exactly why people come here. The nearest supermarket is a 10-minute drive away (Bellingwolde/Winschoten). We recommend arranging groceries in advance.
