Welcome to Cottage du Potager, Come and discover this little paradise of 35m2, in the heart of a vegetable garden. Enjoy the Nordic bath all year round, head in the stars around the corner of the fire pit. 24min from the factory shops, close to the champagne lakes and 30min from the Champagne vines. The property is located on the main street of our small village of 120 inhabitants. We are also delighted to welcome you and your four-legged companions! (garden not fenced) The space The vacation rental is an entire, completely independent property, located close to our house, on the main street of our village. We live in a very small village of 120 inhabitants in the countryside. The nearest supermarkets and shops are about a 15-minute drive away. The property: With an area of 35 m², the cottage consists of: - A main room - An equipped kitchen with fridge, Nespresso coffee maker, kettle, two-burner stove, pots and pans, hand mixer, and blender. - A modular bar for sharing your meals indoors, with two bar stools. - Separate WC. - A separate bathroom with walk-in shower and vanity unit. - A 160 x 200 bed. - An outdoor terrace with two deckchairs and garden furniture. - A vegetable garden, with access to vegetables part of the year (no vegetables from November to June on average). - A Nordic bath with a jacuzzi option, 100% private, usable year-round (except during periods of severe frost). - A crib and high chair on request. We are happy to welcome babies. However, due to the size of the property, there is less space once the folding crib is set up. Please take this into account. Things to know: - The garden is not enclosed. - Horses are grazing nearby - There is no TV or air conditioning. The price includes: - The entire place - Access to the private Nordic hot tub for the duration of your stay (please let us know in advance if you want it heated so you can enjoy it as soon as you arrive) - Wood for the Nordic bath and the brazier - Bath towels, bathrobes and dish towels - Basic cooking ingredients: salt, pepper, oil, vinegar. - An arrival kit: 2 rolls of toilet paper, dishwashing liquid and dish towels We will be happy to connect with you regarding any special requests: birthdays, marriage proposals, Valentine's Day, etc. To see more photos and videos of the property, please feel free to follow us on @lecottagedupotager10 We really want to welcome you in the best possible way, but our cottage doesn't necessarily meet all expectations. The Cottage du Potager IS NOT for you: - If you are looking for a place to stay close to the city, supermarkets or shops... We prefer to be honest: here, it's more like "in the middle of nowhere" (and that's also what we like). - If you're not a fan of insects, our vegetable garden is a real little paradise for local wildlife: bees, ants, shield bugs... a whole team that is discreet but essential! - If you are sensitive to the slightest noise, we live in the heart of a village and on its main road, so you won't find absolute peace and quiet here. - The dining area only has a bar with two stools and a coffee table with two armchairs for your meals (on sunny days, there is a table outside). Our garden is not fenced, and if your dog dreams of digging a tunnel to England... our vegetable garden may not be entirely in agreement. Guest access The cottage is located in the heart of our vegetable garden. The accommodation is located in the immediate vicinity of our main residence. You have private access for the duration of your stay to the vegetable garden. You can park at the foot of the cottage. Other things to note Please note that the cottage is located in a very small village of 120 inhabitants on the main street. We are in the heart of the countryside. You may hear the rooster crow, the bells of our beautiful church ring, and you will also encounter the local flora and fauna. UNFENCED GARDEN As a reminder, the cottage is only 35 m². Please take this into account when making your booking. There are no shops in the village. Pizza vending machine stocked by the baker, 4 minutes' drive from the cottage. Supermarket 15 min away. Restaurant 15 minutes away (mainly open Thursday to Sunday during the off-season). Bakery 4 minutes away, but closed on Sundays. Total gas station 5 min away.
