Description
Welcome to the oldest miner's cottage in town, a charming and historic studio-style retreat nestled in a serene rural setting. This unique cottage offers a peaceful getaway for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle. Enjoy the cosy and open layout of this cottage, designed for a comfortable and intimate experience. Located just 25 minutes from Tallangatta and 45 minutes from the larger town of Albury, this cottage is the perfect base for exploring the region. The space While the host lives in another cottage on the same property, your space feels private and secluded. The cottage is just a 3-minute drive to Hume Weir, where you can enjoy lovely views and swimming. Mount Granya State Park is also just a short drive away, offering scenic walking tracks and a beautiful waterfall. Relax by the fire pit in the evenings and enjoy the tranquil rural ambiance. The property is home to a friendly toy poodle dog and some chooks, adding to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. A washer and dryer are available in a shared space. The kitchen includes a fridge, stove, microwave, bench-top oven, dishes, cookware, and condiments. Maudy’s Cottage is on a rural property using tank water only. I respectfully ask for an appreciation of water usage when tanks are low. Guest access You are welcome to wander around the gardens, use the fire pit or just sit on the front and back verandahs and relax. There is a shared laundry if you need it. Other things to note If you’d like to treat yourself or your friend to a facial massage during your stay at Maudy’s this service is available and on offer. Lisa uses all organic products and lives only 3 minutes away. Just make mention of this when requesting your booking and we’ll do our best to try and fit it in.
