On the first weekend of February, the village hosts the Bärenleier with a costume ball and entertainment program. The numerous cycling and hiking trails are also recommended, for example along the Hannover-Berlin canal or the Elbe Lateral Canal near Wolfsburg, the border museum in Böckwitz, as well as the Fairy Tale and Fragrance Garden in Salzwedel. A bike rental is available in the neighboring village. Four parking spaces are available on the property, one in a garage, and additional free parking is available on the street. Families with children are very welcome. Pets and smoking are not allowed. The accommodation offers homemade products and has a storage room for motorbikes and bicycles.
