The home, located on a quiet block is close to the subway station (J) with easy access to all shops, groceries, etc. Forest Park is also a short walk away! Note: This is a new listing so I don't have any reviews yet but please feel free to view reviews for my other house, which is located right around the corner from this one and has a very similar set-up! The space QUICK NOTE: Please do not request a booking before reading the house rules (additional rules) and making sure you are good with those. Enjoy your stay in this quiet and comfortable home, located in Woodhaven, Queens, a charming, family-friendly neighborhood! Located on a quiet tree-lined street, yet two blocks from the "J" subway station and shops, this is perfect balance for your stay! Come home to a space to relax and unwind after a busy day in the city, yet still have everything at your fingertips. The J train, which will take you to Manhattan in about 35 minutes (Essex Street Station) is located two blocks away. With its original woodwork and high ceilings, enjoy a touch of historical charm in New York City! Please note that while we maintain a quiet and peaceful environment, this is a shared house and you will likely encounter other guests during your stay. Most guests book multiple months so there isn’t much turnover but you may see a new guest during your stay if someone’s reservation ends. In addition, the host does visit the property occasionally to clean, check in, maintain the premises, restock items, etc. There is also a cleaner that comes in to take out garbage weekly as well as clean the common areas and/or rooms as guests check out. If you are not comfortable with this, please reconsider the booking. Guest access There is a fully-stocked kitchen, stocked with all essentials, such as pots, pans, plates, silverware, cups/glasses, toaster, blender, etc. Coffee and tea/herbal tea are provided so please help yourself! You will also have access to a common area with a TV/workspace, along with the backyard space, which has two separate areas - a patio and a grassy area - which you are free to use at your leisure! The bathroom is shared and you will find everything you need there including a hair dryer and iron. Soap, shower gel, shampoo/conditioner, etc. are also provided. During your stay I will be available anytime you need anything so just ask! My goal is to ensure all guests have a have a peaceful and pleasant stay! Other things to note Please note that toilet paper will be provided for the first week as a starter. Extra towels and sheets will also be provided. Feel free to ask for anything else you may need!
