We have an ecological biodigester to filter sewage by gravity and bacterial action, which makes using biodegradable products a priority. This property started to grow 20 years ago when the whole place was covered by vegetation. Casa Ik is in an ejido land that belongs to a deeply traditional Mayan community. We respect the customs and traditions of the Mayan-speaking locals. The dress code and behavior must be appropriate and respectful.
