Paris in Buenos Aires

Our home in Buenos Aires is a luminous, fully equipped Art Deco apartment in a beloved 100+ year-old building in Recoleta. It's our primary residence when in Argentina—full of character, not a boutique hotel. Renovated kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, no one sleeps in the living room. Hardwood floors, high ceilings, 3 ACs, Wi-Fi, 2 TVs. Some doors need care, floors show age. If you appreciate vintage charm with modern convenience, this is the place for you! The space No crypto mining allowed! This is a beautiful, charming Art Deco apartment bathed by the afternoon sun. It is located on the second floor (third in US terms), and every room except for the kitchen and the third bedroom have French doors that open to a petite French balcony. The intimate entrance hall is furnished with an antique console and chairs, and an oriental rug. It connects to the dining room and living room, that are separated by splendid lead glass sliding doors. Towards the right of the hall is the kitchen with recessed ceiling lighting, a breakfast bar and black granite countertops. It is equipped with a gas oven, a microwave and plenty of pots and pans to prepare a full meal for five. The whole apartment has very high ceilings, as well as hardwood in all areas except in the bathrooms and kitchen. Wood paneling adorns the lower part of the walls in the hall, living and dining rooms. There are three AC units, one for the dining and living rooms and two more in two of the bedrooms. The living room and the main bedroom also have ceiling fans. In the dining room, the table and Queen Anne chairs offer seating for six. A large gold leaf antique mirror doubles your food and your joy! The living room has a large modern sofa, two English chairs, two comfortable club chairs, a large coffee table, and a flat screen TV with full cable and a Wi-Fi router next to it. The main bedroom has a double size bed, (slightly smaller than an American queen size bed but wider than a full-size bed), a large modern closet and a small flat screen TV. There are also two night tables, a chair, and small shelves with books in several languages. The second bedroom has two single beds, a beautiful closet with desk space. The main bathroom has an antique refinished bath tub and shower, a linen closet, a standalone basin with a mirror, two sconces above it, and a bidet. Adjacent to the kitchen is a laundry area with a washing machine and a suspended ceiling clothes drying rack that can be lowered and pulled up for air drying your laundry. This area has a back entrance door to the apartment with a second elevator and a section for daily garbage collection. A second, long hallway leads to a small renovated second bathroom with a toilet and a hand-held shower. The third bedroom, across from the second bathroom, has one single bed and a large storage unit. There is a closet at the end of the hallway with a vacuum and cleaning supplies. The last room is locked and stores the owners’ personal belongings. Guest access Full access to the apartment except for a small storage room in the back. Other things to note Five people maximum.
