Also--very important--please read the house manual for instructions before using the wood burning stove . Please only burn wood and kindling we provide. DO NOT BURN COMPOSITE OR EASY START DURAFLAME LOGS IN THE STOVE. THEY CLOG UP THE STOVE AND ARE A CHIMNEY FIRE HAZARD. This is the country and there are bugs and critters who (very infrequently) make their way into the house. In case you have children--please be aware that one of the bedrooms is in an elevated loft space. See photos for detail. There is a farmers market/grocery store very close by with local produce, meat and fish. Highly recommended. Queechy Lake is nearby and great for swimming.
