Located in the charming hamlet of Montpascal, at an altitude of 1,450 m, this typical Savoyard farmhouse invites you to immerse yourself in the soul of the Maurienne. Ideal for cycling, hiking in summer. In winter, the Grand Coin area is accessible from the Chaussy pass (1.6 km away) and offers snowshoeing and cross-country skiing routes. Alpine ski slopes are a 50-minute drive from the house. Spread over two levels, it has an outdoor area where you can enjoy the calm of the village while admiring the surrounding mountains. On the ground floor, a warm living room welcomes you with: - An equipped kitchen, perfect for preparing delicious meals after a day in the mountains. (There is no dishwasher or washing machine.) - A friendly dining room, where wood and stone mingle to create an authentic atmosphere. - A cozy seating area around the fireplace, ideal for sharing relaxing moments. - A bathroom with shower and toilet. Upstairs you will find: - Two bedrooms each equipped with a double bed - A cozy living room, perfect for a moment of reading or a quiet break. There's also a single bed. - Access to the balcony, offering stunning views of the Grand Coin, ideal for enjoying the sunrise facing the mountains Guest access In winter, it is not possible to park in front of the house. You have to park 100 m further away in front of the town hall Other things to note Nestled in a preserved village of Maurienne, this house is the perfect base from which to explore the natural and cultural riches of the surroundings: • The majestic landscapes of the Vanoise massif, with its hiking trails and preserved fauna. • In winter, the Nordic area of Grand Coin, accessible in just 5 minutes by car, offers cross-country skiing and snowshoeing routes in the heart of the wilderness. Alpine ski slopes are 50 minutes from the house (St François Longchamp, La Toussuire, Les Karellis, Le Corbier) • The chapels and churches of the Chemins du Baroque, witnesses of Savoyard religious heritage. • The typical villages of the valley, where mountain architecture and local traditions are discovered along the alleys. From the house, it is not uncommon to see birds of prey hovering over the surrounding ridges, adding to the magic of the place.
