Your group will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. It’s just a block from Twin Lake Park, in the same building as a Sicilian restaurant, across the street from breakfast, 10 minutes from Michigan's Adventure and Muskegon, approx. 20 to Lake Michigan, and about 30 from both Grand Haven. It's fully equipped with what you'll need for a short or mid-term stay for up to three guests. *New RO system & water softener *This apartment requires climbing stairs The space Dogs MUST be kept on a leash. No guests under age 2. The unit is located in a large building that has been partially restored. Your specified unit is 100% private and no one else will access it except for the reserving guest and the registered guests. The host will only enter during your stay if requested (by guests) to address needs. Other guests sometimes occupy the other spaces in the building and you also may see us, Scott and Rachel (your hosts) on occasion. Also on rare occasions, contractors (whom the hosts know personally) may be on the property, but never in designated guest spaces. In this instance, all guests will be notified in advance. Please use designated guest parking and leave the reserved Handicapped spaces open to those who need it. If you're pulling a tailor or need a larger space for any reason, please contact the host for directions. The water is slightly hard and you will see that it has a slight yellow tint when the tub is filled up. It has been tested and found to be safe for bathing, washing, brushing, laundry, and cooking. A jug of distilled drinking water and a few water bottles are provided for you in the fridge, but you may want to bring extra for drinking. Guest access Guests may use the yard to walk around in but must clean up after pets. There is a pet waste scooper provided near the garbage can where waste can be disposed of. The upper outside patio/deck is reserved for only guests of Unit 2, North Lake. There is an outdoor seating area below with table and chairs which we've provided which is reserved for ONLY guests of apartment #1, West Lake to use. DO NOT access the roof that is located near the patio or exit the deck any other way besides the use of the stairway. Guests are also not permitted in any other space inside the building other than the unit that you have reserved. Other parts of the building are being updated and, therefore, are not safe for entry. There is a designated smoking area at the back of the building. Please use the provided bucket for disposal and stay at least 25 feet away from any entry/exit door. Other things to note This place can comfortably accommodate up to 3 guests, ages 2 and up. It is NOT equipped to accommodate children under the age of 2. It’s just over 400 sq. Feet. *We’ve recently (Nov. ‘25) installed a new water softener and RO system, making the formerly hard water of EXCELLENT quality! Please be warned that you may hear noise coming from other parts of the building including the (1)other apartment or the commercial space out front. The building itself is a communal space but this unit is completely private. Only you, and those who you allow inside, will enter during your stay. The host is the only other person who will have any knowledge of the private door code which you will receive in your check in information.
