Well insulated cottage with heat pump, wood stove, wi-fi and a covered terrace. It is located on a 2100 m2 peaceful natural plot with trees and shrubs near Denmark's largest lake, Arresø, and not far from one of Denmark's best beaches at Kattegat. The cottage is surrounded by live fences and deer are frequent passers. The area is rich in birdlife and many interesting national historical memorials and cultural treasures. Supermarkets are nearby and the area also invites for active holidays. The space The cottage is peacefully located in the cottage and nature area Tibirke Sand, which borders the national park Kongernes Nordsjælland north of and not far from Copenhagen. The national park includes the nearby protected areas, the lake Arresø, Denmark's largest, and the forests Tisvilde Hegn, Asserbo Plantage and Melby Overdrev The lake area is the habitat of many rare birds and is internationally protected. The forest's crooked trees have been planted hundreds of years ago to hold on to the sand after a major sand escape. The areas contain a rich flora and fauna. Tibirke Sand and its surroundings is a paradise for nature lovers. The cottage is also a good starting point for excursions and experiences in the culturally rich North Zealand. Possible excursion destinations include 3 of Northern Europe's most beautiful castles, Kronborg in Helsingør (on UNESCO's World Heritage List), Frederiksborg in Hillerød and Fredensborg castle. The latter is still used by the Danish royal family. Guest access As a guest you have the whole house. with a covered terrace for free disposal and access to a 2100 m2 large quiet and private nature plot with trees and shrubs and a approx. 1000 m2 of lawn. There is also garden furniture and a barbecue available.0 Other things to note The price for renting the house does not include a cleaning fee, but payment for electricity and water usage. Consumption of firewood for the wood-burning stove is also not included in the price/rent of the cottage, but is paid by individual agreement. Guests must therefore clean the cottage themselves before their departure according to instructions on my bulletin board in the cottage. In case of non-compliance with cleaning/tidying, etc., the guest must pay compensation to the host for his/her expenses for professional cleaning. Failure to pay the host will be reported to Airbnb with various penalties for the guest as a result.
