Welcome to the Lake Lodge! You and your group will enjoy stunning waterfront views of Lake Pocotapaug from the comfort of this modern ranch. Centrally located, with easy access to many amenities. A (very) short walk to Sears Park, Lakeside Bar and Grille, the Happiest Paddler, and so much more! You will have access to the entire home and driveway, along with the partially fenced yard. The front yard is spacious, featuring a hammock and fire pit. Perfect for lawn games or roasting ‘smores. The space This newly renovated 3 bed/2 bath home is perfect for your stay on the lake. Designed with the discerning traveler in mind, you will enjoy all the comforts of a “home away from home.” Panoramic views of the lake can be enjoyed both in, and out, of the home! Three spacious bedrooms all with ample closet space so you can truly unpack and relax during your stay. The Captain’s Quarters (king suite) is even better than the photos. Featuring a private full bathroom and oversized walk-in closet. Open concept kitchen and living room provide the perfect space to entertain, or unwind as a group. Previous guests have noted how well-appointed the kitchen is, featuring all of the cooking essentials. The spacious yard is partially fenced, perfect for lawn games, playing outside with the kids, or catching some sun. Guests are welcome to cozy up around the fire pit and open a good book on the hammock (summer months). Directly next door to the house is Lakeside Bar & Grille. On Friday and Saturday evenings (July-Sept ONLY) they typically have live music outside- which ends between 10:30 and 11 pm. It is a fun and lively atmosphere, residents from the surrounding area come to drink and dance and celebrate those cool summer nights. Please take this into consideration when booking if you have young children or anyone in your group that is sensitive to noise. It is not loud within the house, but you can hear it when the windows are open. Also within walking distance is the Happiest Paddler- a locally owned kayak and paddle board rental shop. If sun and swimming are more your vibe, Sears Park is just a 5 minute walk down the street. They have public restrooms, a picnic area, and a playground for the kiddos. Perfect for parents with youngsters that don’t want to deal with loading up the car, and bringing home a bucket of sand. If indulging in libations is more your style, Arrigoni Winery is a 10 minute drive down the road. They offer wine, ciders, and boozy slushies, as well as snacks to share. Family friendly, with plenty of room for large groups. They also offer live music during the summer. Parking- The driveway can fit up to 3 vehicles. There is no off street parking. Please contact the host if you have any special parking requirements or questions. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire home, driveway, and yard. Across the street is a picnic table bellied up to the water- feel free to take a seat or grab some take out and take in the beautiful view. Guests are welcome to use the docks across the street owned by Lakeside (NOT labeled “private property). Other things to note Only guests that are included in the reservation are permitted to be in the home. Please do not host events or have parties. There is a $500 penalty for bringing an unauthorized pet into the house. There is a dock for public use directly across the street, owned by Lakeside Restaurant. You are welcome to use that dock. Please do not use the dock with a sign labeled “private property.” The public beach (Sears Park) is a 3 minute walk from the house. It is for residents only, so you will not be permitted to park a vehicle in the park. For safety reasons, please only one person on the hammock at a time. Please be respectful of furniture and belongings in the home. Guests will be responsible for any damaged property. Please let us know in advance if you will be bringing a pet during your stay, and include it in the reservation. We kindly ask that you crate your pet if you plan to leave them alone in the home. Please do not hang anything on the walls.
