MANGO the Kasita is in a private, quiet and centric neighborhood. Retreat to this hidden paradise a gorgeous and modern tiny house with private pool and tropical landscape. Perfect for exploring all the activities on the island or escaping for a relaxed stay without sacrificing the advantages of metro area. Only a 12 minute drive from the airport (SJU). Very close to supermarkets, restaurants, gas stations, pharmacy, local bakeries, fast foods and night life. The space MANGO the Kasita is build in three levels.. Entrance level with living room and kitchen in an open space concept providing a bright space with a views of the garden and pool. Also includes the bathroom with rain shower and skylight window to our coconut palm trees… From there you can go down stairs to our primary bedroom with a Queen size mattress, and a dedicated work space and a view to a hill side garden and the pool. If you require more privacy you can extend a blackout curtains to close the space to others in the house… And finaly, walk up the stairs to the Messanie.. to our second cozy bedroom with a Full size bed in a lot of light and view. All the space is on a full AC unit 24/7, security full glass windows which bring great natural light, but also have black out curtains for your convenience. Outside: Property have a romantic, cozy and private garden with the illuminated pool, sun bath, sitting area, BBQ and dinning area. Amenities include: -House holds essentials (pots, pans, silverware, dishes, glasses, dish soap, sponge, a paper towel roll to get your stay started) -All bed linens. White towels, pool towels, basic toiletries (enough toilet paper, body wash, shampoo, hand soap to get your stay started) -Hair dryer -Clothes steamer, hangers. -Some beach items like beach chairs, cooler -Board games and outside games -Grill with propane -Hammock As anyone who lives or frequently travels to Puerto Rico knows electric and water utility services are often unreliable… but in MANGO the Kasita we got you cover! because we have an automatic generator and a 600 gallons water reservoir for your uninterrupted enjoyment! We feel great and ready to begin! Outages will not ruin your vacation. Getting around: We recommend you rent a vehicle. This gives you the ability to be spontaneous, gives you more options because you can drive further out and to more remote locations on the island. Uber and taxis are available. 12 min from San Juan airport (SJU) 7 min to Plaza Carolina Mall 20 min to Plaza las Americas Mall 5 min to Rute 66 (For exploring East side island) 20 min to Canovanas Outlets 30 min to Old San Juan (All the times are estimates in regular traffic hours) Guest access You can park a long the street in front of the property and we will send to you a 4 digit code for the lockbox on the gate to open from outside. When getting access you can put again the key on the lockbox because you can close the gate from inside. Other things to note Keep in mind that Casa MANGO is situated on a tropical island, enveloped by lush vegetation and diverse wildlife. You may encounter various insects, small reptiles, spiders, and amphibians, all of which are harmless. Please consider this if you have any phobias, allergies, or feelings of discomfort. We take care to fumigate the area regularly and advise you to keep the front door closed. In addition, we offer insecticide and repellent should you need them.
