The Little Norman House

Relax with the whole family at this well-equipped place. A practical house (17th century), completely renovated in a nice setting, well-equipped, cleaning included, beds made on arrival, bath towels provided! Key box available for peace of mind when going for a walk and for late arrivals. House with central location, 10 minutes from a train station (Yvetot) and 30 minutes from the most beautiful beaches in Normandy, 30 minutes from Rouen, 45 minutes from Le Havre, 150 km from Paris. The space The small house has two bedrooms with very comfortable bedding (160 bed, Tediber brand for each room) and a shared bathroom with shower and toilet. The kitchen is equipped for 6 people (dishwasher, washing machine, Senseo coffee maker, kettle, toaster, induction stove, oven, raclette and crepe maker, mixer, blender) It is open to the living room which opens directly to the outside: terrace, garden table, deckchair, barbecue. A ping pong table and a game of molki are at your disposal. You will find some board games and some reading material. The living room is equipped with a pellet stove that will warm your autumn evenings. At your disposal, a TV and a DVD player and some DVDs for the whole family. Highchair (Ikea), folding crib are available upon request and free of charge. Pets may be allowed after discussion together. We live on the site but you will have a garden and parking spaces that will be reserved for you. You will have the opportunity to have goats, chickens, ponies, and the house pets nearby. Guest access We live on the site of the small house but this cottage is completely independent. Our house is behind and we have another garden to disturb you as little as possible during your stay. Other things to note We embarked on the adventure of the small house this summer. The renovation of this outbuilding was important to us, it is the first house on the property, the house in which we live (just behind, a mansion, typical of the landscape of Upper Normandy) is the second construction of this former farmhouse. The 'little house' is as bright, comfortable, well-equipped and spacious as in the photos and listing description. Add to that that it smells good even in the drawers, that the company of the two goats and the pony brightens your breakfast from a distance and above all, that the attentive kindness of your hosts is accompanied by such subtle discretion that you simply feel at home 'between land and sea'! We loved everything: the ease of discovering the region by bike between linen fields, beautiful Norman houses and cliffs; our trips to Etretat and Rouen and this dream weather with which we were lucky enough to start the adventure of this beautiful cottage that we highly recommend to everyone. Settling by the stove to read after a hike in the fall colors can't be bad either! We'll be happy to go back!
