The space This private guest suite is located within a charming vintage home in the village of Shakespeare, offering a comfortable and peaceful place to relax while exploring Stratford and Perth County. While the space is not brand new or ultra-modern, it has been thoughtfully furnished with everything needed for a cozy and enjoyable stay. The bedroom overlooks beautiful farmland and countryside views, often treated to breathtaking sunsets right from the window. Plush bedding, soft towels, robes, slippers, and thoughtful extras help create a welcoming atmosphere. A futon sofa in the bedroom can be used for separate sleeping arrangements, lounging with a book, watching television, or enjoying a quiet evening indoors. The fully equipped kitchen includes the essentials for preparing meals, along with coffee, teas, and basic pantry items to help you settle in comfortably. A large dining table provides space for meals, games, or planning your next adventure. Outside, guests are welcome to enjoy the spacious one-acre backyard, where farmland views, a hammock between the mature maple trees, and the occasional bunny create a peaceful country setting. On cooler evenings, the gas fireplace in your bedroom while gazing outside offers a cozy place to unwind. The property is also home to Orchard Wellness & Treatment Center, a boutique spa and wellness space located within the same building. Guests are welcome to inquire about treatments and special guest rates during their stay. Host Sherry resides in a separate private living space within the building, allowing guests to enjoy their own private suite while having assistance nearby if needed. Located just 12 minutes from Stratford, 20 minutes to Kitchener-Waterloo, local walking trails, ponds, and seasonal outdoor activities, this comfortable countryside retreat offers a relaxing home base for your visit. Guest access •Driveway is to the right of the building. •Parking is on LEFT of driveway as it’s shared with neighbour who has right side ( in winter she may be parked on same side to accommodate snow plow) Please do not drive on lawn. •Entrance is beside driveway behind row of cedars- brown door by patio •Smart lock instructions for side door airbnb will be included in your check in •Please enjoy your own fully furnished outdoor private Patio area near guest entrance, as well as the full backyard. •Laundry washer/dryer option available in building (shared washer/dryer with spa business and host) can be arranged/scheduled for you, check with your host to arrange. Other things to note •I do stay within the building in my own separate apartment. You most likely will not see me as I like to offer you privacy. You may see me if I decide to sit out at the side yard and you wander across the property which is not the same side as you are staying or if we access the garbage/recycling bins. My white car is sometimes parked in the driveway and you may see me coming/going to it. Feel free to say hello if you do, otherwise I offer privacy. •Guests that stay longer than two days, I may need to arrange the watering of flowers in your area, top up water fountain or access the garbage and recycling bins. I try my best to arrange yard maintenance workers prior to your stay however, weather conditions may leave us no choice but to maintain that during your stay. Prior arrangements of appointments are usually recommended, however, sometimes short notice openings can occur. • check out my guidebook I created to give some Recommendations of local stops and stores and businesses within the area. ***The laundry facilities for the business is just in the room beside the kitchen. It’s privately separated by the white bifold door (that is locked) beside the fridge. From time to time you may hear staff putting laundry in or taking it out. If you would like to use the laundry just arrange a time with your host.
