Bodane - beautiful views and late sunset

In a large house built for the farm's workers, this complete apartment is located on the upper floor. With a nice view and Fengersfors' latest sunset, you can enjoy your holiday. Secluded with the forest behind the house, a private path to the viewpoint on the mountain but at the same time a 5-minute walk to the grocery store and the old paper mill where Not Quite is located. There you will find a bakery and during the summer a café and bistro, art exhibitions and a building maintenance shop. Swimming area is a 20-minute walk (1 km). The space An apartment on the upper floor with two bedrooms and a spacious kitchen. Completely renovated tiled bathroom with shower and washing machine. An old house that previously consisted of 5 apartments but now consists of two, one smaller and one large. In the big one, Johan and I live with our two children (12 and 10 years old) and our two black and white cats Lilly and Gudrun, Gudrun is a little shy but Lilly is happy to say hello. You can be lucky to see deer and hare and feel free to take a little walk up to the viewpoint "Bodane-berget". Guest access The entire apartment is for you as a guest, outside there is a table with 4 chairs (not in winter) that is free to use, even seating up against the forest is good to use. In the apartment, there are two storage spaces (a built-in wardrobe in the entrance hall and a cat loft in one of the bedrooms). These are not for use by guests, but they are not locked. There is, for example, a clothes rack to hang laundry that is free to use and a collapsible fire escape ladder. There are fire extinguishers both in the entrance hall and in the kitchen, the smoke alarm is connected to smoke alarms in our part of the house. Other things to note Please be aware that the house is over 100 years old; it creaks when you walk on the floor, it creaks in the house if the heating is on and we who are in the house hear each other. Our cats may be curious to visit the property if the door is open, but they are very nice. Just make sure they go out again if you close the door.
