The Alex Mclean House is a two-and-a-half storey Georgian style house. It is located on Hollis Street in Downtown Halifax, Nova Scotia and is one of the oldest house on the block. Built in 1799 this space provides a cozy, comfortable atmosphere, perfect for those seeking a relaxing or quiet evening in, or a convenient location for those wishing to take in all the cities sites. Don't forget the waterfront board walk and bishops cellar are only a block away! The space This space offers a stunning spacious atmosphere of brick and old wood materials mixed with clean modern colours and decor. There is a cozy corner of skylights for relaxing, watching TV or reading, and the brick from the fireplaces (non-working) located the main room. It is truely captivating and offers a unique atmosphere. Also to mention, the soft lighting mixed with a little music provide the perfect setting for those couples or singles looking to get away and relax. Guest access PARKING- The building does not have dedicated parking however there are options. There are two lots close by. One is 1535 Hollis Street and the other is 1247 Hollis street. The third option is on street. You can park directly outside the building using the hotspot app or one of the meters street side. Street parking is only paid 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday and is free during the evenings and on weekends. Parking is roughly $20 per day at all three locations. ACCESS- Access to the suite can be found on the left hand side of the building. Through the iron gates. Follow the pathway around back, and up the first set of stairs. 1328 Unit 2, First Door. KEYS- The door can be access with your unique 4 digit key code provided to you on the morning of your arrival.
