A couple, children in elementary school or older, and grandparents can all stay comfortably together in a quiet 12 tatami-mat living room and 3 bedrooms. The house is located in a quiet residential area, 13 minutes on foot from Urawa Station. It's about 7 minutes by taxi and costs $4. Urawa Station has 4 lines (JR Keihin Tohoku Line, JR Tohoku Main Line, JR Takasaki Line, JR Shonan Shinjuku Line). It is very convenient because you can directly access major spots in the city. (Ueno 21 minutes, Ikebukuro 19 minutes, Tokyo 26 minutes, Shinjuku 25 minutes, Shibuya 31 minutes) 7 minutes directly from Urawa station to Omiya station. The Shinkansen is available from Omiya Station, making it convenient for sightseeing in various parts of eastern Japan. The area around Urawa Station is a beautiful and refined city. There are also many restaurants and convenient shopping. My house has 3 private bedrooms & 2 toilets, making it ideal for long-term family stays, a base for sightseeing in Tokyo, a relay point for trips to Japan, and a perfect place for workations. (The entire second floor is a private space for one group only.) This is a somewhat retro house that was built 39 years ago. [Bedrooms] There are 3 private bedrooms that can accommodate up to 10 people. ・ 10-tatami mat Western-style room: 2 double beds 　- It's an open space with large windows where you can enjoy a refreshing morning. ・ 6-tatami mat Japanese-style room: 2 double beds 　- A calm and luxurious Japanese-style space. ・ 4.5-tatami mat Western-style room: 1 double bed 　- It's a great space for enjoying private time. Living Room There is a spacious 12-tatami living room where the family can gather and relax together. - Sofa - Dining table for 6 ・ 2 stools ・ TV (terrestrial, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, YouTube, Disney Plus, all available) * Netflix is ad-free and unlimited! Free parking is available for vehicles up to 4 m long and 1.8 m wide. (Compact cars can be parked.) If you come by a larger car, we're sorry, but you won't be able to park in the free parking lot on the premises. There are several paid coin-operated parking lots within a 2-3 minute walk, so we can direct you to one of them. We also provide a Nintendo Switch and manga comics (in English) to keep children entertained. There is also a workspace, making it ideal for a workation in Japan. We also offer discounts for longer stays, so please take advantage of them. Nearby Facilities It is located in a residential area, a 13-minute walk from the station. It's a quiet and calm neighborhood. The nearby shops are listed below. ・ Seven-Eleven: 3-minute walk, open 24 hours ・ Drugstore "Seims": 3-minute walk, 8:30 am – 9:45 pm You can always get what you need at convenience stores and drugstores. There are many restaurants near the station, but there are few restaurants near the house. Other things to note ★ PLEASE NOTE ★ About noise Our lodging is located in a quiet residential area. Since there are also people living on the first floor, disruptive behavior such as noise, parties, and shouting outside that would disturb the neighbors is strictly prohibited. In particular, noise is prohibited between 8:00 pm and 9:00 am, and the police may be called if there is noise. In the unlikely event of a problem with the neighbors, we will charge an additional 100,000 yen on top of the security deposit for the affected party. Please enjoy a quiet and relaxing stay at the accommodation. No smoking or fire strictly prohibited Smoking is not allowed in the house or anywhere on the property (including the entrance, balcony, outdoor stairs, and parking lot). Also, please refrain from smoking around the building as it may cause inconvenience to those nearby. If you smoke (including e-cigarettes), we will charge you 50,000 yen as a deodorization fee. Smoke detectors are installed in the room. This home is not suitable for smokers, so we recommend other Airbnb listings. [Prohibition of Unauthorized Entry and Parking on Neighboring Properties] There are houses adjacent to the area around our house. Unauthorized entry or parking on land or in parking spaces outside the property, such as at neighboring properties, including unloading luggage from taxis, rental cars, or shuttle buses, is strictly prohibited. Please make sure to unload your luggage on the premises of our property. We will provide information about the parking spaces available on the property once your booking is confirmed. If you enter property outside the premises without permission, the police may be called. Building Facilities Because it is an old building that was built 39 years ago, the hot water system is not the latest, and the temperature control may occasionally be unstable. Also, when you drain the hot water from the bath, water may temporarily pool on the floor of the shower area. We apologize for the inconvenience, but rest assured that it will drain naturally after a few minutes. [About the air conditioner] Because it gets a lot of sunlight, the living room and 10-tatami mat bedroom are difficult to cool in the summer. The Japanese-style room and the 4.5-tatami mat Western-style room are easy to cool with the air conditioning and stay cool. I hope you will turn all 4 air conditioners to their maximum settings to cool the entire space. [Absolutely no shoes] Shoes are strictly prohibited inside the accommodation. Please be sure to take off your shoes at the entrance before entering. [Entrance key number] The front door keypad code will be issued after you complete the guest list form registration. Please register in advance to ensure a smooth check-in. [About children] We do not have facilities for preschool children at our lodging. The lodging is located on the second floor, accessed by an outdoor staircase. However, the outdoor staircase is steep and difficult to navigate with a stroller, so we recommend that only children who are old enough to climb the stairs on their own stay here.
