Description

Simple camping cabin at Haugen cabin rental & camping. The cabin has no running water. Free use of common facilities. The cabin has a fridge, 2 hobs, coffee maker, kettle and TV. The cabin does not have kitchen utensils (plates, drinking glasses, cutlery, etc.). Use of a small shared kitchen is included. If you do not want to clean the cabin yourself upon departure, cleaning will cost NOK 100 in addition. You must bring bed linen or sleeping bag yourself. We rent bed linen for NOK 50 per set - NOK 70 per towel. The space Simple camping cabins of type 3 have four bunk beds. The cabins are only one room. Max 4 people are allowed to stay overnight in the cabin. The cabins have duvets and pillows for 4. Bed linen (duvet cover, pillowcase and sheets) are not included. Bed linen (or sleeping bag) and towels you must bring yourself or you can rent from us. Bed linen NOK 50,- per set Towels NOK 20 per piece Our cabins of type 3 are affordable to rent precisely because they are simple. Our simple camping cabins of type 3 have cabin numbers from 7 to 12 and you can get a cabin with a different cabin number than what the ad contains. All our simple camping cabins of type 3 are equally equipped. Dining table with chairs and stools. Heating stove. The cabins have wooden floors or parquet. Take off your outdoor shoes at the door - inside the cabin. There are notices in all cabins with cabin rules. Cleaning on departure is not included. You must clean the cabin yourself or pay for cleaning. Final cleaning costs NOK 100. Kitchen means that you can cook in your own area or in the shared kitchen. The shared kitchen has a small stove/oven (2 pcs.) and a microwave - no other equipment. In the cabin there is a pot, a frying pan, a ladle and a spatula. Otherwise no kitchen utensils, such as plates, cutlery and other in the cabin. The cabins are part of a campsite with a total of 18 cabins (9 of the cabins do not have toilet/water in the cabin itself - the other 9 have this in the cabin) - and we have areas for camping with motorhome, caravan and tent on a 'drop in' basis. Shared facilities (toilet, shower and kitchen) will be freely available to all our paying guests. We have 62 caravans that are here all year round, but they are mostly used in winter. On our property we have a private playground for you - our own paying overnight guests. Others - who are not paying guests with us - must pay NOK 50 for a family to use the playground. Guest access As a guest, you have access to the cabin you rent and common areas both outside and inside. Use of the barbecue and fire pan in the outdoor area is included, but any charcoal and wood are not included. Washer and dryer for a fee in the common area inside. Parking at the cabin is included. Areas marked private are private and not accessible. The shared kitchen has two mini ovens and a microwave. The kitchen does not have pots or anything else for cooking or eating with. We have a kiosk (reception) and café that is open in 2025 from 2 pm to 7 pm every day from July 4 to August 10. All our guests are welcome to dine with us. On the menu we have 'typical' street food (fries, hamburger, cheeseburger, schnitzel and more). We have soda, chocolate, chips and more. We also have a liquor license and serve beer and wine. The price list on our menu can be found on our website, but unfortunately we can't publish it here due to Airbnb's publishing rules. It is not allowed to stay more people in the cabin than what is stated by beds in the ad. Violation of the maximum number of persons in the booked cabin may result in additional fees and/or expulsion from the campsite. Other things to note It will not be possible to book cabins of type 2 and 3 with us with accommodation between January 1 and May 1. If the purpose of your trip is to go to Kjerag, then the road - FV 4224 - to Kjerag/Lysebotn is closed during winter between November and the first part of May the following year. The road must be closed by November 30 and can open no earlier than May 1. The road is usually opened around May 17. The road is closed every winter. There are large amounts of snow on this road in winter - there are usually several meters of snow in this area. The road is also closed to take care of Northern Europe's southernmost wild reindeer herd.
