Our Schwalbenloft is a stylish and sustainably furnished refuge with lots of wood and almost 100 square meters. A large kitchen-living room with a beautiful dining area with a large fridge with freezer, water and ice dispenser awaits you. The comfortable sofas in front of the 58-inch smart TV with Netflix, Disney+, RTL+ and much more invite you to relax. The bedroom with work corner has a wellness bed. Children often find their kingdom in the sparrow's nest. The bathroom promises unforgettable evenings. Our swallow loft is almost 100 sqm and stylish, but sustainably furnished. Friends of wood will definitely get their money's worth here. The furnishings, but also the extravagant walls, convey a special atmosphere. A side staircase at the building takes you to the 1st floor and through the tidy entrance area directly into the large kitchen-living room with a beautiful dining area. The modern kitchen is a dream for every amateur chef and equipped with all necessities - we have deliberately waived a microwave. Next to it is a Samsung Family Hub - a large fridge with freezer, built-in water and ice dispenser as well as other surprises. Equally surprising are the comfortable sofas with the 58-inch iron smart TV with height-adjustable foot and a "thick" entertainment package including Netflix, Disney+, RTL+ and much more. The large living room table invites you to drink wine in the evening or to board games - space is definitely also for the largest puzzle. Next door is the large bedroom with a work corner and a feel-good bed for cuddling. In the sparrow nest above, the kids usually have their home, but the beds are also comfortable and big enough for average adults. Only the wooden staircase to the nest requires a certain mobility and also the slopes make the nest more an emergency accommodation for adults. The height-adjustable desk offers plenty of space to work or plan day trips by bike or to Potsdam and Berlin. Directly from this is the wellness bath, with sauna and double bath with jacuzzi. The heated towel rack warms the towels provided if needed. In addition to the toilet, a bidet is also available. After an extensive sauna session, you can then jump directly into the mirrored shower to cool off. The hot tub makes evenings as memorable as children play in an almost limitless bathtub. Baby bed and high chair can be provided if needed. Our house includes three apartments that are separated from each other. In the basement is a large laundry room with a washer, dryer and plenty of space to hang laundry. This is at the disposal of all guests if needed. For each apartment there is a free parking space right in front of the house. They have an excellent infrastructure right in the village to fully take care of themselves. In about 50 m there is a net supermarket and about 150 m within walking distance an excellent REWE market, which is open from Monday to Saturday from 7 am to 10 pm. So if you're missing something for meals - no worries. Across the street is directly a pharmacy and physiotherapy next to it. There are various restaurants nearby where we can give you recommendations as our guests, which you should go to depending on your taste and budget. The village of Geltow as part of the municipality of Schwielowsee, where the house and your apartment are located, is over 1000 years old and consists of an incredible amount of history, which is also directly linked to Potsdam and Berlin. So you can explore the Einstein Museum, the cable ferry between Geltow and Caputh, the hand weaving museum, the Caputher Castle, the Petzower church with the Haussee and many other sights in the vicinity and further afield. Upon arrival, you will receive a guest folder with many interesting excursion destinations both in the immediate surroundings as well as in Potsdam or Berlin, as well as the fastest ways to get there. Depending on whether you prefer to travel in the city or in nature. Especially the combination of both, makes our location so attractive. Your apartment is an ideal location for bike rides; 300m away is the Europa bike path R1. As is often the case in Havelland, you can walk on various bike rides around the many Havel lakes in the footsteps of Fontane and Einstein. The bike path mostly leads directly along the shore of the lake, but also makes small detours in the area. Bikes and e-bikes can be borrowed for a fee if they are not used by other guests. Therefore, you are welcome to reserve them in advance with the hosts. Around us is plenty of water and forest with great cycling and hiking trails in the middle of nature. Various boat rentals in the area also allow great hours or even whole days on the water. By bike, you can reach the water in three minutes at the latest and on the beach directly on Lake Petzin or Schwielowsee. Our domicile is also a perfect starting point for trips to Potsdam or Berlin. Within 15 minutes you are by car or bus in the middle of Potsdam and can enjoy the many sights. You are almost as fast to the park and Sanssouci Castle by bike. The bus stops are only about 100 m away and so you can also drive to Werder/Havel or Potsdam in both directions. You are at the train station after about 15 minutes and in another 30 minutes in the middle of Berlin at the Zoologischer Garten with the Kudamm and the Gedächtniskirche or Berlin Central Station. And after a day of shopping at KaDeWe or sightseeing in Berlin, you can come back just as quickly and enjoy the tranquility surrounded by the forests and lakes of Havelland at the gates of the city. One point we would like to point out at the end: in about 100 m as the crow flies, behind other gardens, there is a small substation that can be heard in very quiet moments with a quiet buzz. This also does not bother all surrounding residential houses while sleeping or relaxing in the garden and did not prevent our guests from having a relaxing stay. Guest access Our house contains three apartments that are separated from each other. In front of the house is a shared parking space - each apartment has a parking space. In the basement there is a large laundry room with a washing machine, a dryer and plenty of space to hang laundry. This is available to all guests on request. On the side of the house is the staircase to our swallow loft on the upper floor. Bicycles and e-bikes can be safely parked on the property if you want to bring your own bikes.
