Three bedrooms have a double bed apiece, while the fourth bedroom has a bunk bed and a pull-out trundle bed. There is room to park two cars in the chalet’s covered parking space. In winter, Heidi’s Alm Hütte chalet is located halfway between two ski resorts: the Zillertal Arena and the Wildkogel Arena. Your ski pass will give you free travel on the ski bus to either of these two venues, and there is a bus stop within comfortable walking distance. You can also begin a wonderful winter walk direct from your holiday home. And for a special treat, you could try a torchlight hike: Once a week this starts from the village of Krimml and ends at the Krimmler waterfalls – a truly magical experience! At the end of a long days’ winter sports, you’ll be ready to enjoy a warm, refreshing private sauna. And afterwards, your party can gather to chat around the wood-burning stove. What better way to end the day! In summer, you can start each day with a great view over the stunning mountain landscape. Can you already see yourself sitting on the lovely south-facing balcony enjoying a cup of tea or coffee? Heidi’s Alm Hütte chalet is the perfect base for a flexible summer holiday in Austria. Within fifteen minutes you can be standing beside Europe's highest (tiered) waterfall, the Krimmler waterfalls. And the WasserWunderWelt theme park, near the waterfalls, is a great place to visit with children. You could take a trip to the Blausee, or board the Pinzgauer Lokalbahn railway to explore the surrounding villages, or even enjoy a day trip to the town of Zell am See.
