What could be better than spending a few days by the sea in Barcelona? The space Welcome to La Barceloneta, Barcelona’s seaside neighborhood. Your studio apartment is waiting for you here, everything you need in a unique, stylishly refurbished, welcoming and light-filled space. On your right when you walk in is a bathroom with a shower, and a lovely open-plan kitchen with a dining table and everything you need to knock up a meal if you don’t fancy going out. On the other side lies the sleeping area, complete with a comfortable double bed, and a small balcony from which you can lean over and take in the narrow little streets of La Barceloneta. Note: The apartment is on the fourth floor in a building without an elevator! There are currently street works nearby, so you may experience some noise during the day. We appreciate your understanding. Once you’ve settled in, all you have to do is decide whether to head downtown or go to the beach. If the beach is the plan, then picture yourself swimming, doing a paddleboard or SUP yoga course, running on the shores of the Mediterranean, or just sampling the varied cuisine of a neighbourhood known for its rice and fish dishes and its lively bars. If you’d prefer to explore Barcelona, then it’s a short, ten-minute walk to the city centre and its most iconic districts, buildings and monuments, among them the Gothic Quarter, Raval, Plaza Catalunya, and Paseo de Gracia. The apartment is well connected to the airport and well served by local transport. The Hospital del Mar is just 500 metres away, and La Barceloneta Market is also close by. A typical neighbourhood market, it opened in 1884. Shop here and you’ll be one of the locals. It’s well worth a visit. Don’t forget that you’ll have the support of the Lodging team. If you're arriving by car, we recommend booking a parking space online with Parclick before you arrive. Since January 2020, the most polluting vehicles are not allowed to drive in Barcelona Monday to Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. If you're bringing a foreign vehicle, it must be registered in advance (there’s a €7 fee, processed within 15 working days). 💼 Business trip? Please respect the neighbors by keeping noise to a minimum, especially after 10 p.m., and avoid slamming doors or hosting parties. Only the guests included in the booking are allowed to stay. Please note that breaking the rules may result in eviction without a refund. 🚭 No smoking Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment.
