Marlinton is close to the Snowshoe resort which offers winter sports, summer sports and events as well. The house is within walking distance to the Greenbrier River and the Greenbrier bike trails. A couple of shops have bikes and canoes available for rent. Or you can also float on a tube! Grocery stores, hospital, laundry facility, restaurants, coffee shops and local souvenir shops in town all within walking distance!
