Tiny houseboat with roof terrace
Houseboat Vacation in the Front Row – on the Likedeeler
About the host
Description
The LIKDEELER is a small houseboat with a big impact. Warm wood, lots of light and the direct view of the water create an atmosphere that immediately slows down. Cozy and clear inside, outside the Elbe is very close. Whether coffee in the morning, a quiet afternoon or long evenings on the roof terrace – time feels light on the LIKDEELER and everyday life is pleasantly far away. The space The LIKDEELER is a very special tiny houseboat – small in size but big in feeling. Located directly in the first row on the water, this ecological wooden boat welcomes you with a clear, quiet atmosphere that immediately invites you to breathe and linger. Everything is designed so that space and light play with each other: warm wooden surfaces, floor-to-ceiling windows and a gentle view over the Elbe let you relax at the first glance. In the front living-kitchen area, an open space spreads out that feels equally good when cooking, sitting or chatting. The cozy sofa invites you to put your legs up, let the wood stove crackle warmly and watch the quiet play of light on the water. Through the large windows that are everywhere, the water seems to become part of the interior – it seems as if the exterior space extends into the boat. Here you can enjoy breakfast in the morning sun as well as quiet evenings with a glass of wine. At the rear is the small but exquisite bedroom with a comfortable double bed mattress. As soon as you wake up, you can see the water through several windows – a quiet moment that begins the day in a special way. The proximity to nature is omnipresent and comes without big words: water, light, wind and the quiet sounds of the harbor set the pace here. The bathroom is functional and unobtrusive: a modern eco-dry toilet and a refreshing shower provide the comfort you want for a relaxing stay. And although the Likedeeler is small, no space was wasted in the construction and furnishing – everything is well thought out and fits harmoniously into the open space. A real highlight is the roof terrace, to which a ladder leads up from the living area. Whether you are sitting here in the sun, letting your gaze wander over the water or simply coming together in the evening – this place creates proximity to the surroundings and invites you to the most beautiful moments. On clear days, it is the perfect stage for long conversations, quiet observations or shared laughter under the sky. The LIKDEELER is ideal for couples, solo travelers or small groups who want to enjoy a special time on the water. Not a houseboat for large groups, but a place that creates a great sense of atmosphere and connection with its small size – a retreat that easily remains in the heart. Other things to note The grounds, the jetty and the boat are not accessible. The water on board is officially not drinking water. Either bring drinking water or use the drinking water tap on the jetty. Please keep showers short, as the site is not connected to the public sewage system. (There is a pit that is pumped out regularly.) You can sleep on the sofa in the small living/kitchen area; it is 1.20 m wide, so suitable for 1-2 people. So you can stay overnight with 1-3 people on the boat; depending on how much you want to cuddle, as a family with smaller children, for example, possibly also with four people. (Please always register all persons.) In the courtyard, through which you walk to the jetty with the boats, high-quality houseboats are built by hand from wood and according to ecological standards. On the premises you often meet carpenters and boat-loving people. Sometimes construction noises can be heard. The surroundings are very green, yet it is still Hamburg; nearby is a railway bridge, which you can perceive more or less strongly depending on the wind direction. (Most people don't mind the noise.)
