Enjoy a peaceful visit to the City of Roses in our one bedroom guest cottage. Filled with light, this little home has a full bath, fully equipped kitchen, laundry, a memory foam mattress and plenty of room to breathe - all within walking distance of restaurants, parks and shops. Spread out in the shared garden space or get cozy - an efficient heat pump keeps you at just the right temperature, no matter the season. Designed by Dyer Studios and filled with local art, our cottage welcomes you! The space This one-bedroom guest cottage sits in the backyard of our home, with a shared garden and patio. Guests will have private and exclusive access to the cottage, of course, but you are more than welcome to use the shared grill and outdoor dining area, as well! Or help yourself to some blueberries from the bushes in front of the cottage. We are happy to share! Our neighborhood is a real Portland treasure - walking/biking distance to the shops and restaurants on Alberta Street, N. Williams and Mississippi Ave, yet far enough to be peaceful and quiet. You'll also find parks in every direction: Spacious Irving Park 5 blocks to the south, tiny Two Plum park 3 blocks to the west, a tiny farm on 11th and a cute public orchard on 18th. Access to the west side of Portland and downtown is also a breeze, with a hop on and off the Fremont bridge nearby. Guest access We will send the door code before you arrive. Other things to note Our little cottage does not have blackout shades, so if that is a must for you, please be aware. The primary bed has a thick, high-quality memory foam. If you prefer a very firm bed, please be aware this bed may not meet your expectations. Also, please let us know if you would like the couch converted into a bed before you arrive! While pot may be legal and easily available in Oregon, this is a NO SMOKING, NO VAPING property. There is plentiful outdoor seating, should you wish to partake. We ask that you do so when no children are present. If we enter the home to find it smelling of your herbal refreshments, we will unfortunately have to report it to Airbnb.
