Rental unit in Nampa

Come stay at The Meyer’s Country Retreat in Nampa. Quaint little apartment in the back of our shop for rent. Peaceful, central location. Private, beautiful, fully fenced backyard. Amazing location in the country, but close to Lake Lowell, city amenities, wineries, etc. You’ll hear nothing but frogs and crickets in the evenings. You may even get a chance to pet the goats or eat farm fresh, organic eggs from the chickens, and herbs & veggies from the garden when in season. Approved pets welcome. The space The Meyer's Country Retreat is all-inclusive and a nice open space for all to enjoy. You don't need to bring anything extra to be comfortable. Rooms in the apartment include: Bedroom - a good-sized bedroom with a very comfortable Queen bed, dresser, rocking chair, dresser and large walk-in closet. There's extra blankets and a queen air mattress in the bedroom closet if needed. The bedroom has a TV w/DVD player and Roku. Bed-side tables at both sides of the bed w/books, lamps and outlets for plugging in your phone. Living Room - The living room includes a sleeper sofa that is great for kids or a shorter person (5'4" or shorter approximately), a comfy chair, TV w/Roku and DVD player (lots of DVD's to choose from), games and books. Outdoor chairs beside the entertainment center. Kitchen - Full kitchen with full-sized fridge, stove w/oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee pot (coffee, creamer, sugar, tea included), toaster. All dishes you need to cook and eat included. There's some non-perishable food in the cupboard if you arrive hungry and need something to fill your tummy. Always have popsicles in the fridge for a treat and popcorn to pop for movie nights. We also have eggs from our chickens, garden veggies and herbs and raspberries included when in season. Dining Areas - There's a vintage table with seating for two. You can put the leaf up and seat 2-4 more. There's also a peninsula w/2 stools. Bathroom - Large bathroom with a full tub shower combo, sink & vanity, toilet and storage space. Incidentals included in the bathroom in case you forgot something such as toothpaste, toothbrush, etc. Close to Lake Lowell (1 mile), wineries (many within 10-15 miles), charming downtown Nampa (7 miles), Ford Idaho Center (11 miles), the Snake River (10 miles to Marsing or 20 miles to Melba), 6 miles to Northwest Nazarene University, 8 miles to Nampa Civic Center, 8 miles to RedHawk Golf Course, 9 miles to Sunnyslope wine trail, 10 miles to I-84, 27 miles to the Boise Airport, 50 miles to Silver City. Exercise equipment available if requested. We have yoga mats, weights and an exercise bike that we can have available in the apartment if requested. Lake Lowell Input #1 is 1 mile from our property. Input #1 is right at the no-wake zone, so perfect for kayaks, paddle boards, etc. You can walk, but you can also drive and there's a nice parking lot right at the input dock. Guest access Guests have full access to the entire space. This is not a shared space. You are on the same property as our home, so we are out and about, but you have complete privacy with a private entrance and fully fenced private yard space separate from our personal yard. Other things to note We offer a 10% discount to public servants, past or present. If you are or were a public servant such as a veteran, teacher, police officer, firefighter, social worker, etc, just let us know and give us more information to substantiate. We will refund 10% of your nightly rate approximately 24 hours after check-in. Because of how the app operates, we are unable to give the discount upon booking. Giving Back: In addition to giving all public servants a 10% discount, we also participate in Air BnB's Open Homes Fund. A percentage of every reservation we receive is donated to this fund to provide housing in times of need. We are so thankful for Air BnB and the community and giving back they foster. New Starlink Internet Service installed, so super fast Internet access. Room to park trailers for possible additional charge. Driveway is a little steep for large live-in horse trailers or RV's. Our RV is 24' and have no problems with that or boat & trailer. If you have a larger trailer/RV, check with us first. We easily parked large moving trailers. Semi's sometimes feel comfortable, and sometimes don't using the driveway. Space to install a round-pen for horses or temporary pen for other animals for an additional charge. Let us know ahead of time.
