Sights And Sounds | Travel Tours ** The Red Serpent Temple ** Located on the way to the Yoga Pagoda and the river, the Red Serpent Temple is a spectacular cob and bamboo house. The sacred spirit of the bamboo can really be felt when sleeping in this house. The house elegantly incorporates natural elements such as three large stones, drawing in the life force. It is almost like you are sleeping out in nature with the comfort of being nestled inside. The room comes with a king size bed, closet and many delicate crystals. ** Luxourious Bathroom ** Enjoy a bath in this deluxe bathroom carefully decorated with mosaic tiles. Treat yourself to a bath ritual, with fresh flowers from the garden, candles, wine and Epsom salts. You are in for a real treat. ** Large Kitchen ** The kitchen next to the Red Serpent Temple is super spacious and open with all you need to cook delicious meals. This is the main kitchen for all retreats so it is fully equipped kitchen. ** Beautiful Terrace ** The terrace outside this house is the perfect place to spend sunny mornings or lazy afternoons, relaxing and reflecting. The Queen of the Jungle (Ayahuasca Vine) right across the terrace is climbing a majestic giant Red Cedar Tree towering above Rio Chirripo. In addition to the beautiful nature with its captivating river, Heaven and Earth Sanctuary is home to a wide range of beautiful facilities. A peaceful yoga pagoda overlooking the river, a Yoni garden, a sacred copper pyramid and Incan altar, a small farm with goats, hens and chickens as well as a jungle spa. We love flowers and fruits and have filled this place with a wide range of exotic flowers and trees. Pick a banana or why not a custard apple and enjoy! One of our absolute favorite things do do at Heaven and Earth Sanctuary is to spend time at the river. Rio Chirripo, with its crystal clear water runs alongside the property and a river swim is always only a few footsteps away. Start your day with a refreshing dip in the healing water or meditate in the middle of the river, on one of the many sun warm rocks. We even have the perfect yoga rock where a couple of people can practice together. With 10 acres of serene nature, most guests end up staying within the property grounds. But, there are plenty of things to do in the area, ranging from adventurous hiking up Mt Chirripo to Cacao factory visits. We will happily arrange whatever adventure you are interested in.
