Howdy! We are Adam & Adriana and we proudly operate Valley & Peak Property Co. This was the first unit we dipped our toes into hosting with and we haven't looked back. We encourage you to come live like a local in the most welcoming suite around. It is located in the lower level of the home and is finished with all the right touches. Where else will you arrive to a bottle of wine, cold sparkling water, snacks, and pillow chocolates?! DEVELOPMENT PERMIT NO. 69/23 The space In the summer, our well equipped and cozy apartment will be the perfect escape from the sun. It can get hot out here in the valley! The unit stays nice and cool. Just in case, we do have central air throughout the house. Don't get caught in an above grade place without a/c - trust us on this one! There is ample opportunity for walking, biking, hiking, and fishing without having to turn on the car. Our property is located between pigeon creek and the Bow River - a truly picturesque location. Want to know about the secret river swing or the bonfire pit on the beach?? Just ask! For young families, there is a great park a few houses down the street. We have a private outdoor seating area and barbecue for your use. A campfire in our backyard can be arranged! In winter, the in-floor heating will keep you toasty warm after a day of skiing, skating, show-shoeing, or one of the other many winter activities the Bow Valley has to offer. Our neighbourhood offers a skating rink and cross country ski tracks can often be found on the path behind our home. Summer or winter......maybe you just need time away and want to come and hunker down in the mountains for some much needed R&R. That's okay, too!!! Sounds perfect, actually. Fresh air is good for the soul. We pride ourselves in the tranquility of the space and the area we are located and do not welcome large groups or parties here. If you are looking for this type of experience, we won't be the right fit for you. We kindly request that you are honest with us at the time of booking regarding how many people you are bringing with you. You will find a full bathroom, fully stocked and gorgeous kitchen, tv area with pullout bed & fireplace, bedroom with KING bed, and a walk in closet big enough for the pack 'n play or a second sleeping area for the kids. In the summer you'll enjoy the cool temps of the apartment, which will be an escape from the hot sun. In the winter, you'll be welcomed by our top-notch heated floors. No chilly feet when you step out of bed here! Other things to note * WE HAVE A ONE DOG MAXIMUM. PLEASE REACH OUT PRIOR TO BOOKING TO ENSURE WE ARE THE RIGHT FIT FOR YOUR FURRY FRIEND * As mentioned in our description, we live in the upper two levels of this home and have insulated the space between the floors as an added sound barrier. When we are home, we do our best to walk with quiet steps when on the main floor of the house. We spend most of our time on the second floor (that is where our kitchen and living areas are), but please be aware you may hear us at times.
