Larger supermarket in Londonderry called 'Londonderry Village Market'. Our favorite spots outside Jamaica: Dam Diner for breakfast; Honey Pie for lunch, Townshend Dam for sledding, Pikes Falls for swimming, Stratton for summer hiking. Snow making pond for swimming. Summertime: Stratton has great events, concerts etc. The local lakes and farmers markets are awesome. Go to Snowmaking pond, bring your dog and enjoy the warm clean water. Vermont is awesome in the summertime. Springtime: Its usually very muddy but if you like to Fly Fish or always wanted to try, book a guide at the Orvis store in Manchester and see what you are missing. This is also sugar season - stop by a local sugarhouse and see where the syrup comes from and how its made Fall: COLORS, Festivals, Brewfests, and the harvest at the farmers markets. 4x4 or AWD vehicle is HIGHLY recommended in the winter months. The back road(Pikes Falls Road) to Stratton is mostly dirt and can be slippery in winter and spring so be careful.
