Lakeside Hideaway

Relax with the whole family at this Peaceful Lakeside Hideaway! We have a large deck where you can relax & see views of Lake Cascade. There is so much to do in the area from playing at the Lake to hiking/riding the trails that are within minutes of the cabin. In the winter you can snowmobile or ice fish! (If you would like to host a larger family reunion please just ask or read the property info in next link - we can host more people between my property and family property close by!) The space I made one of my dreams come true and purchased the cabin this last year! Just hoping to share it with you when I can't be there to enjoy it. The cabin was built in 1975 and we are updating the cabin each time we visit. The cabin does sleep 6-8 people right now depending on how cozy you like to be. There are 4 bedrooms and a large game room/living room upstairs. (Right now we only have 3 bedrooms ready to go but by end of 2025 we should have the 4th bedroom ready. In the meantime you can throw down an extra air mattress in the upstairs living room or the downstairs living room if you wish.) Then you can get the 8 guests in. It does have 1 1/2 bath. The main bath is on the ground floor with sink, toilet, and walk in shower with a seat. The upstairs has a small 1/2 bath with a sink and toilet. This property could easily host a family reunion with the room inside and out! We do have a strict policy of not more than 10 guests unless you have cleared something with us. Unfortunately, if we find out people are not respecting those rules, then there will be extra fees. I have instated a $100 per person fee if you bring more people than you’ve disclosed to us. This is out of respect for our neighbors, who own cabins right next to us. ***If you are wanting to host an even bigger family reunion let us know. Other family owns the cabin close by with an extra lot. Between the two properties you could host all of your family members and have a memorable trip to the mountains! Your family could enjoy days at the lake, relax in the living room and watch a movie, relax on the large deck, or make s'mores by the campfire at night! In the winter time you can snowmobile to the Snowmobile Park right down the road or go Ice Fishing on Lake Cascade! Guest access You are renting the whole cabin. Right now during the remodeling phase, we just have 3 rooms ready to rent. The 4th room upstairs will be locked until ready. You are welcome to use the parking outside for cars or trailers. Other things to note Rustic family cabin that is nestled in the trees on the back side of Lake Cascade. You can take a walk to the lake and nearby boat dock. Less than a mile if you want to drive and drop a few toys in the lake. Also very close access to all the trails for ATV's, UTV's, and motorcycles. We have extra room for small Rv's or toy trailers. Just a short drive of 15 minutes from town.
