"Casa Morenica": the Cavallaria

"Casa Morenica" is a building from the 1900s, located in Montalto Dora, on the Via Francigena, 2 km from Ivrea. Renovated in 2023, it consists of two separate rooms, used as guest rooms. It is about 50 km from Turin and 60 km from Aosta. Within walking distance of Ivrea train station, 30 minutes on foot and 15 by bike. The "Parco dei 5 laghi" area starts a few hundred meters away, going up towards the castle. Less than two minutes away: two restaurants, two bars and a take-out pizzeria. The space The room "La Cavallaria" (from the name of the mountain visible from the windows) is a room of 21 square meters, with an adjoining loft of 11 square meters, and a bathroom with shower. Here you will find a large common area, with a clothes hanger, mirror, a comfort area (kettle, welcome set with cups+tea+herbal teas+coffee, napkins, mini-fridge, kettle), a double bed, a sofa bed, a particular historic trunk table and two comfortable chairs. One wall is decorated with a pleasant floral wallpaper, while others display "homemade" paintings and paintings with eccentric portraits... a particularly stimulating and unusual environment!! Guest access The building consists of two floors, with private access from the municipal road, an external courtyard that leads to the shared stairs to go up to the floors. The room is on the second floor on an internal balcony. The balcony is private, equipped with a small table, chairs and a bench, and smoking is only allowed here; the second, smaller one overlooks the main street.
