Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. We have completely renovated this country farmhouse just outside of world-famous Lava Hot Springs. Located in Bancroft, Idaho just 15 mins from Lava. This rural getaway sleeps 6 and is a perfect escape for your vacation! You'll also love the fire pit and hammocks in the courtyard. It's nice to come back home and relax after a hard day of play!! If you need more space we have another unit onsite that sleeps 6!! (Separate Rental) The space About this space Escape to the country and relax in this beautifully renovated farmhouse just 15 minutes from world-famous Lava Hot Springs. Located in the friendly small town of Bancroft, Idaho, this comfortable getaway sleeps up to 6 guests and is the perfect home base for soaking in the hot pools, exploring the outdoors, or simply unwinding. This farmhouse is one of two vacation rentals located on the property. Each rental has its own private home, entrance, and parking area. However, the outdoor courtyard is shared between both properties. Shared amenities include: 🔥 Large fire pit with Adirondack chairs 🌿 Multiple hammocks 🏡 Gathering area and A BBQ area **These shared spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are intended to be enjoyed by guests staying in both rentals.** Traveling with a larger group? Ask about reserving both the farmhouse and the cabin that can be rented seperately to enjoy the entire property together! If you’re looking for complete seclusion or exclusive use of the outdoor amenities you will have to rent both units. The space The farmhouse comfortably sleeps up to six guests with: 1 Queen bed in the primary bedroom 2 bunk beds in the second bedroom (Twin over Full) (If you've stayed with us before you may have used a sleeper sofa in the living room. The frame is broken is no longer available for use) Fresh linens, extra blankets, and pillows are provided for your comfort. The fully equipped kitchen includes basic cookware, dishes, utensils, and everything needed to prepare meals during your stay. Ceiling fans are located in both bedrooms and the living room. During the summer, a window air conditioner keeps the home cool and comfortable. In the winter, radiant wall heaters provide cozy warmth throughout the house. For your security, a motion-activated light and exterior security camera monitor the front entrance only. Guest access Guests will receive detailed self-check-in instructions prior to arrival, making check-in quick and convenient. Other things to note Bancroft is a charming rural town of approximately 400 residents. While you’ll enjoy a peaceful country atmosphere, this is not an isolated property. There are neighboring homes nearby, and another vacation rental is located on the property with shared outdoor amenities. Bancroft is also a Union Pacific railroad town. Trains travel through the outskirts of town and can occasionally be heard from the property. Many guests enjoy the small-town character this brings, but light sleepers may wish to bring earplugs. The laundry room is located in a storage room connected to the cabin unit. It is a work and storage room for the cleaners. You are more than welcome to use it during your stay just please be aware because of the exterior door there will be dust and may be disorganized. Please also note that there will be dust in outdoor furniture and weeds outside. We of course try to keep the property clean and usable but it is not professionally maintained. If either of these things will bother you this property is not a good match and you would be happier staying somewhere else. While the cabin offers a relaxing country atmosphere, it is located within town and is not an isolated mountain cabin. There are neighboring homes nearby, and the property includes a second vacation rental. Each rental has its own private home, entrance, parking, and private porch with a gas fire table, while the courtyard, fire pit, hammocks, and Quonset gathering area are shared between both properties. Whether you’re soaking in the hot pools, floating the Portneuf River, hiking, fishing, riding ATVs, or simply enjoying the beautiful scenery, you’ll love coming back to relax on your private porch or gather around the shared fire pit under Idaho’s incredible night sky.
