Cosy cottage in Wedderburn, perfect for couples or families. A stone’s throw from the Central Otago Rail Trail, surrounded by mountains, this place has everything you need for a quiet weekend away! Host Chloe Rosser has a selection of her artwork on display and available to purchase to remind you of your stay! She is also a trained Reiki Practitioner and can accommodate relaxing Reiki sessions to tie in with your stay! The space Cosy 2 bedroom cottage, fully self contained. One bedroom features a super king bed, the other has two single beds. Mattresses are new and comfortable, and we pride ourselves on choosing natural fibre items where possible. There is an open plan living/kitchen area with a wood burner, and everything you would need to self cater. The north facing French doors take you out onto a generous sized deck - perfect for catching the sun at any time of day! Other things to note We are just a stone’s throw from the Central Otago rail trail. Bring your bikes and cycle to Middlemarch via Ranfurly, Waipiata and Hyde in one direction, or to Alexandra via Oturehua and Lauder in the other direction. If you prefer mountain biking through forests, we are a 10 minute drive to Naseby, home to an incredible set of mountain bike tracks through the forestry. Naseby is also home to the Curling Rink and Adventure Park where you can try ice skating or the luge. Use us as a base and visit historic Oturehua or St Bathans, or take in the wonderful scenery that the Maniototo has to offer. We can also recommend some great local pubs and cafes in the area!
